Dr. DeLuca is fantastic!
He is one of the most caring, compassionate, dedicated, and thorough physicians I have ever seen. He listens and follows through when previous surgeons dropped the ball. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic care but especially back surgery. Thank you Dr. DeLuca and team!!

Very Pleased with Dr. Deluca
I was very pleased to meet with Dr Deluca regarding my MRI on my hip. I asked if he could explain in layman's terms which he willingly did. I then explained the issue I am having with my neck. He was very thoughtful and understanding . He suggested I have an epidural to see if that would help in my distress. He then went the extra mile and explained that he could preform surgery if it started down my arm (which it is not) He then referred me to another specialist to see if they have a different avenue to take. I am very pleased to have Dr. Deluca in my court. Thank you God Bless

Made the right choice
I recently had a reverse total shoulder replacement and was fortunate to have Dr. Steven DeLuca as my surgeon. He was very caring and addressed all my concerns and more since I had no idea what to expect. Everything progressed as planned under his care and his team at OIP. A very special shout out for his assistant, Anna, for all the times I called with a ton of questions before and after surgery. Great team and a great job. Thank you!!

Total right hip replacement
Dr DeLuca had performed total replacement of my left hip. The surgery had went extremely well and there wasn't any doubt that I was returning when time for the right hip.

Highly Recommend
Dr. DeLuca was my 2nd opinion for back fusion surgery. I found him while researching FDA clinical trials and was most impressed with his desire to find groundbreaking solutions. Although my incapacity did not qualify for the study, I decided to trust my health to him. I am one of the rare patients whose bone growth stopped and just underwent a second surgery 13 months later. He arranged a surgery and post-surgery actions that will render success. I have every confidence in him.

Dr Deluca has been helping me avoid knee replacement by using synvisc injections. These injections provide necessary relief and can be given every six months. He is kind and gentle and hugely informative.

Bad bedside manner and degrading speech to staff
I understand these surgeon's obviously push surgery to get paid but not offering any other alternative and being told physical therapy is basically a waste of time due to my arthritis made me feel he is just in this field for the money, total lack of compassion. Also completely unprofessional how I heard Dr. Deluca, scolding the nurse outside the exam room door about how paperwork was filled out and how busy his schedule is. Treat your nurses better...

My husband had 3 surgeries done by Dr Deluca, a knee scope, a back fusion, and a total hip replacement. All 3 were successful surgeries. He takes his time and explains the surgeries and post off results thoroughly. He will be the orthopedic surgeon we use for our future orthopedic needs.

Talented surgeon who expects perfection
Dr. DeLuca is a gifted surgeon. He expects excellent results and usually achieves them. He has done 4 of my surgeries. He becomes irritable when things do not go right, and I felt that he was more concerned with his record of success than my condition as a patient. He did not react well when I got a second opinion. I would still recommend him to perform any surgery, but be prepared to have him avoid you if the results are less than ideal.

Another outstanding experience
Dr. Deluca is a compassionate, very competent surgeon. He is not quick to use the knife/robot and works with the patient to determine how best to proceed. He is conservative and allows you to decide when it is time to take the next step to surgery. I had a total knee replacement about 3 weeks ago and the procedure was flawless. He has realistic expectations for what the patient needs to do to move forward. So far so good. Anna is Dr. Deluca's assistant and a special thank you to both of them.
