My eyelids drooped to the point where I had about half the sight I should have. Was very nervous to have surgery, but wanted to see again. Dr. Chen calmed all my fears. He was VERY professional and explained in detail the procedure. His staff made all the arrangements with insurance. The surgery was performed at Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center. A TRUE PROFESSIONAL! I am in the television and entertainment business and (although shallow) my appearance on the stage is very important to my career. I am thrilled with my results with Dr. Chen and his staff...I went for a trans lower bleph, and although I was not a slam dunk candidate or a 10 out of 10 who was in dire need of a procedure, Dr. Chen told me very clearly that I was a 5-6 and what to expect...and I am very happy with the results! There is more healing time, but what I love about this experience was that Dr. Chen and his staff were the following: professional, EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER, listened to me (I even had a list of questions on a piece of paper and there was no eye rolling, sighs, or impatience from him), and he is skilled! I had droopy eyelids that impeded my vision and I was referred to Dr. Chen by Dr. Kelly Cross, my optometrist. I had gone in for my yearly eye exam and she said I think you need to have blepharoplasties. I scheduled an appointment and went in, had the testing needed for the insurance company and once approved, the procedure was scheduled. Both eyes needed to be done but it was one at a time. Both experiences were exceptional and I am very pleased with the result. Dr. Chen and his staff both in office and at the out patient surgery center were very professional but very personable. I always felt that I was in good hands and highly recommend Dr. Chen. My husband also had the surgery on one eye and his experience and result were the same as mine.

Dr. Chen was very thorough explaining the procedure. He neglected to say it would be PAIN FREE, and for that I am very thankful. His office staff, especially Audrey, went that extra mile to solve a problem with my insurance company.
