He listens and take his time with patient. Feel I’m in great hands. Most of my family has moved to his care.

Dr Bauer is highly experienced & knowledgeable, empathetic, and compassionate. He actively listens to my concerns and questions, and provides easy to understand answers and reference material.

I have been a patient of Dr seven M Bauer for over20 years. He has cared for me like no other . He always is very patient and listens to what I say to him. I lost track of Dr. Bauer during the Pendemic in 2020 and am looking for him to continue to be my Doctor.

Dr. Bauer is outstanding. BHS/Medfirst is horrible and got worse. I followed Dr. Bauer from his own practice to his most recent location. He was worth driving over and hour and worth the wait. I would take a day off just to go. He make actually be retired, I can’t find if he went anywhere else. The doctor I replaced him also abruptly “retired” that was with the same group. I am now left searching again. The replacement doctor was much younger and seemed okay, no doctor Bauer but decent. I think BHS/Medfirst is causing them to “retire” and then they only leave you with a PA or Nurse Practitioner. Which is great for short term and as needed but not as a PCP.

Dr. Bauer is an exceptional doctor. He is very attentive, thorough, very concern about the health of his patients and has an excellent bedside manner! He has been my family's doctor for over 19 years and he is the best! I have referred many patients to him with excellent feedback regarding him. However, through no fault of his, because he is not responsible for hiring the front desk staff; the office staff there leaves something to be desired-they are very unprofessional, uncaring, lazy and they frequently do not tell the truth. Many times me and my family's appointments have been cancelled without our knowledge after driving 35 minutes for my visit and waiting several months to get to see him. They are atrocious to say the least! The Lab staff & doctors assistants are great! Unfortunately, Dr. Bauer is no longer at the practice and we are trying to find out where he is located! They've lost an exceptional physician!

Dr. Bauer is an excellent doctor but the staff and communication from his office is awful. Once he affiliated with this group, the service has gotten progressive worse. They do not answer the phone. If you do get through, they won't help and direct you to the patient portal which is rarely monitored. I was a patient for 10 years and unfortunately, now have to find a new doctor. When I informed the office manager I wanted my medical records, he told the receptionist to have me sign the forms and he had 14 days to get them to me and simply walked off. Shocking that someone in this business has no empathy and could care less about their patients.

It is impossible to schedule any appointment. Spent hours trying to talk with any body. Finally, somebody answered: Please, hold. After 15 + min on hold they just hang up. Will find another facility.

Dr. Bauer is a good physician but his staff is atrocious. From the practice manager down to the person at the front desk, they are the rudest, most dismissive people I have ever met. They continually speak over you, patronize you and make you feel like a piece of dirt for trying to get medical care. Never in my life have I met a worse group of people. Those on his staff that aren't aggressively rude are still extremely uninformed and have no idea what they're doing so they end up passing you off to someone who will end up berating you for interrupting their day. Not to mention that the system Dr. Bauer works for (Baptist) is by far one of the worst in Texas and will rob you blind. Just stay away from this practice - You shouldn't have to deal with a staff that is actively hostile towards anyone who walks in their door in order to get good medical care.

Dr. Bauer is AWESOME!!! One of the best physician's I've ever had - explains in layman's terms, very thorough, friendly - just an all around GREAT doctor! Unfortunately, the office staff at this location (MedFirst Overlook) leave a lot to be desired when it comes to customer service. No smiles, no welcome, no engagement - just curt questions / statements as if you're interrupting their day. As a Veteran who gets care in the community, it's even worse!

I have never been as satisfied with other Doctors for years. The professional, knowledgeable and open communication skills are right on. The explanation of my blood test results was understandable. The wait was brief, all the staff was courteous and professional. Never had any doctor noticed that I have thyroid issues. So, he sent me to the lab next door to verify and I needed medication. Thank You for being my Doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very satisfied with Dr. Bauer as my primary care provider. He listens and works with you. He doesn’t rush you which I appreciate. He follows up and communicates well.

Dr. Bauer is great and responds to every question and concern you have. Even on the online portal. The only issue with his practice is the staff, It seems that there has been several changes, including his PA which is the only one you can get in to see, unless you make wait 15+ days to see Dr. Bauer or the Hospital releases you. Sometimes. She is very dismissive and doesn't listen at all and do not follow up with Test Results.

Dr. Bauer has always been both professional and friendly. He listens and responds to concerns and questions and will promptly respond to any online questions that I may have. Overall, I have great confidence in Dr. Bauer and would recommend him to any family or friends seeking a good primary care physician.

Dr. Bauer is an excellent doctor. He cares about his patients' very much. He spends time asking questions, going over you lab results and really listening to what each patient has to say. He is always friendly and smiling. I have never seen him without a warm. I tease him sometimes and tell him wherever you go I will follow you, unless you go to Paris. LOL! I recommend Dr. Steven Bauer as a primary physician to anyone that needs one. You will not regret this.
