Apparently my other review was not posted. I stated I had been seeing Dr. Zemel for more than several yrs. once every few months. He never knew my name in all that time and only knew me by his chart on his computer. It was like I was a new patient every time I saw him. He did not know answers to my questions and it was difficult for me to receive my lab work results from his office. He did nothing for to improve my condition. My new dr. was unable to get my records from his office which would be helpful to him.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Zemel?
I was sent to Dr. Zemel when my Internist detected kidney filtration problems from routine lab work. At 50 years old I was a little shocked and afraid to say the least. As a new patient, Dr. Zemel took the better part of 45 minutes with me to go over my medical history. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I was delighted to find that his initial opinion about my premature diagnosis was spot on. I wish all specialist would take the time to listen to their patients the way he did.
