Dr. Stephen Weiss, MD

I had a different type of acquaintance with Dr Weiss. This doctor actually delivered me back in 1985 and was relatively new to OB/GYN from what I can tell. I was only 1 lb and 7 oz when I was delivered. My mom was told there was a 9/10 chance of me dying and I was shipped immediately to a different hospital with an advanced level NICU. I am grateful that this physician was there to deliver me and because of Dr Weiss and all the other dedicated staff, I lived. I am now a respiratory therapist working with NICU babies, pediatrics, and all other ages across the hospital. Some people give doctors bad reviews but I am grateful for the ones that were there to help me along. Thank you.

The absolute worst bedside manner I have experienced in my life. Extremely condescending and dismissive. I came in for what I thought may be a serious matter (large breast lump) and he laughed at me and said it would go away. What?? I walked away wondering if he was even a doctor since he acted like such a child.

I strongly reccomend NOT seeing Dr. Weiss. Awful experience. Sarcastic, rude, didn’t feel heard, and he is the most condescending doctor I have ever met.

Had a medical student perform an operation without asking... was generally curt and nonchalant about a process that was very scary for me. I cried driving home.

Very dismissive when I talked about my symptoms and continued pain. Offered no solutions after my ultrasound was 'normal' At 46 I was told to expect fibroids, pain is normal. The worse experience I have ever had.

Based on the reviews, I was expecting some sort of nightmare. Dr Weiss was warm and funny, we had a nice talk and he answered all my questions. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and schedule my surgery. He's a great doctor!

As I was describing my issue with Dr. He became unattended as to dismiss what I was saying. His solution was the only one. Despite my other dr advice. A woman knows her body and pain issues it would do for the dr to at least listen attentively then give you his medical opinion.

He was very rude and inconsiderate. When I told him about my pelvic pain, he told me I was getting old. I was 35! He also gave me a pelvic ultrasound and he jammed the wand inside me and pushed it back and forth very angrily. It was the first time that I felt pain during a pelvic ultrasound. They also never asked me if it was ok if a student came into the room to watch the exam and it was very uncomfortable. Overall, I had a horrible experience with this Dr and would never recommend him.
