Honest Healer
Dr. Wagstaff gets to the issue at hand without the urgency to rush into surgery, like may others just trying to up charge. He was my second opinion and he had a completely different take on how to solve my foot pain. It felt like the bottom ball of my foot had a bone out of place and it was painful to walk, especially barefoot. Dr. Wagstaff can make orthotics in his office in which he did for me. Instead of prescribing PT, he assigned me homework, to stretch my calves everyday for 5 minutes and after three visits I was on my way without the surgery that seemed urgent from my first appt. Dr. Wagstaff offers honest healing options, he's smart, professional, and I appreciate that in todays health care.

Would not recommend
When we arrived to the appointment we were told that it was canceled and we had to wait. The doctor complained about my mom's insurance and that he doesn't get the full payment from that insurance. He was rude and berated my elderly mom for the condition of her feet.

Dr. Wagstaff is a brilliant doctor. He knows how to listen, and then he offers a diagnosis, and it’s always correct. We need more like him.

I'm a runner and cyclist. I was having a problem with my gait and also pain in my foot and lower leg. Beyond searching for pain relief, I was looking for an effective and long term solution to correct bad habits and restore functional patterns. Foot and lower leg issues are very complicated -- often it's not an isolated problem, and it's important to have a very detail-oriented, holistic approach. Stephen is skilled, thorough, and is an essential part of my road to recovery and overall functional improvements.
