Dr. Stephen Strong, MD

Absolutely terrible experience. I spent multiple hours on the phone both on hold and speaking with employees trying to get refills for 2 of my mother's prescriptions. It took over a week and at least 6 phone calls from me and multiple tries on the part of the pharmacy to get 2 prescriptions refilled. The pharmacy faxed the refill requests at least 5 times and also tried multiple times on the phone for over a week. Every time I called I got the same answer - that it would be done that day. IT WAS NOT. I cannot believe the inefficiency and careless attitude of this practice. The pharmacy placed all her medications on hold because they are supposed to ship out together. This doctor couldn't take two minutes to approve the refill and potentially put my mother's health at risk. My father was a physician and would NEVER have treated his patients with such disregard and carelessness. Apalling.

Dr. Strong is extremely knowledgeable and provides clear guidance and advice. He genuinely listens to your concerns before discussing your health, completely trust his decisions and recommend his services, he’s truly a first class doctor!!!

Dr. Stephen Strong is now in private practice in Westport, CT as part of Internal Medical Associates of Westport (IMAW). Dr. Strong was replaced my prior GP of 35 years, Dr. Jay Horn. Dr Horn selected Dr. Strong as his replacement. Dr. Horn described Dr. Strong as "personable, conscientious and caring." I have met with Dr. three times over the past 90 days. Twice via "Telemedicine" and once in person. Based on these meetings with Dr. Strong, I agree that he is "personable, conscientious and caring." He has taken the time to get to know me both as a patient and as person. He takes the time to explain health issues so that a non-medical person can clearly understand the issues. I strongly recommend Dr. Strong as a primary physician and I look forward to working with him going forward. I know that my health will be in good hands with Dr. Strong.
