I was in the hospital due to anemia and fibroids. All of the staff was informative and tentative. Then Dr Slack came to see me and it felt like I was disregarded as a human. He was sarcastic in his questioning and told me abruptly that “I was not going to stay in another night”, as if I was hoping to? I tried to ask about my shortness of breath and he told me to pee more...now if there is a medical term or way to say that I am competent and could have understand but I could tell from his passive demeanor that he cared not. I’m still here sir, and I’m praying for you to get better and get back to treating ALL people with respect. I am sure you took an oath at some point. You are a life saver(circumstantial), act like one and humble yourself.

Dr. Stephen Slack is truly my favorite doctor. He delivered my daughter and was so kind and caring. To this day 25 years later he is still my gyno. He always takes time during appointments to really listen. I always felt 100% safe and comfortable with him. I moved to Redondo, WA 10 years ago and still drive to town to see him - because I know I have the BEST obgyn.

Dr. Slack was my OB and present for labor and delivery at Northwest Hospital. His partner, Dr. Joki, assisted him during my emergency cesarian. The experience was incredibly impersonal and I felt as though I was interrupting their whine-fest over hospital protocols during the procedure. While this was irritating, I had just become a mother so I let it go without a thought. I was released after 3 days to recover at home. For the next 10 days I continued to have severe swelling in my lower bo

He is very knowledgeable, direct, has quick turnaround with test results, and has great bedside manner. I trust his recommendations. It's a small/individual practice so you get the special/personal attention you deserve and at times need. Wait time is normally 5/10 minutes or less.

He is everything a Doctor should be: Kind, calm, professional, warm and caring to name but a few. I drive from Bremerton, WA approx, 2 hours away to receive his care. This is well worth the time and distance. Never once was I treated as if I were stupid. All my questions were answered and fully discussed. Office staff is very sweet and the ultra sound professional is a doll. He is Wonderful!
