Dr Siegel was focused and professional in dealing with my condition

From the get-go I was impressed by and exceptionally pleased with Dr. Siegel's thoroughness, skill-set, recommendations and calm/capable demeanor. He helped me innumerably and succeeded in making improvements to my health and ability to participate in daily activities where my prior Urologist for 6 years was unsuccessful.

I appreciate Dr. Siegel's experienced advice and successful treatment of my BPH issues. Dr. Siegel helped me understand the causes of my symptoms and was very detailed when he went over the treatment options. I chose to have the UroLift procedure. Afterward, I was back to normal activities quickly and I no longer have to take BPH medications. Thank you, Dr. Siegel, for your guidance.

Unfortunately i have medicaid, and there are not too many urologists in the area that are part of medicaid. I called the office of Stephen B. Siegel , they told me i need to wait MONTHS for an appointment. I said ok. Then they said i need a referral. I got one. Then i called after several weeks and they claimed my phone number they got from my PCP was wrong. Then they told me i need to change my PCP to some clinic in boulder EVEN THOUGH both dr Siegel and my PCP are part of same network Boulder Community Health. Then i called Medicaid and they told me this is nonsense and that dr Stephen B. Siegel IS REQUIRED to accept me without any conditions. Then i called dr Siegel back and the lady answering gave me the same canned response

What a delight to find a surgeon who didn't recommend surgery. He explained the condition and the alternatives. He was very approachable.

Not very good - the laser surgery he recommended did nothing, condition is worse than before the surgery. Nothing was explained. Very disappointed.
