Not a Diagnostician or Empathetic to Patient Needs
My son received treatment from Dr. Nowicki for 5 years. One day my child had the audacity to have one of his episodes in front of him (seizure-like) and I asked if this behavior wasn't indicative of more than the ADHD my son was being treated for. We were 'fired' and Dr. N. refused to answer any calls, aid in MD transfer for a difficult case, take my son off weaning-only meds, or sign my FMLA papers for work, putting my job in jeopardy as well.

Drops patients
This guy discharges children from his service who need it because their parents forgot 1 appointment and needed to cancel another same day for personal matters. Not even a 3 strike role. Absolutely insane.

Our Family Would be Lost Without Him
He is very good at explaining conditions and medication options. He listens closely and offers advice on how to help your child. I always leave feeling empowered after visits with him.

Dr. Nowiki has been the most amazing doctor my child has had. He is respectful, kind, speaks to him in a way that is easy to understand, helps my son to make choices that help him feel empowered to be included in making decisions. Dr. Nowiki understands the disorder and the emotional struggles my son has. I especially appreciate that he practices verbal, auditory and visual techniques ensuring that my son can understand in his specific way. My son is always excited to see Dr. Steve, and happy when he has learned new ways of dealing with his struggles.

Super knowledgeable doctor...treating our twin 8 year old boys for ADHD for almost a year now. He's wonderful with kids and really knows all about child behavior/brain chemistry and which meds will actually work, if that route is necessary. Our boys have experienced a dramatic change, from having real problems learning in school, to becoming some of the best students (because they were already smart, but couldn't reach their potential), and really being able to focus now. Highly recommended!

Dr Steve has treated my 3 sons for profound ADHD and other issues for years. He really listened to them, spent the time to educate them about behavioral mod and how the various meds work so they could go off to college, minimize the medical intervention and take responsibilty for their diet, exercise and other means of managing their lives. He's an MD and a PhD in pharmacology and he knows the meds better than anyone- when to use them, and when not to use them. My sons grade him A++.
