Dr. Newman saved my mother’s life a few years ago when I was told by another heart surgeon that only an immediate triple by-pass surgery would possibly save her. Dr. Newman, after careful study recommended a new stint procedure performed by another doctor in whom he had great confidence. The procedure was successful and added a few more precious years to my mother’s life. Now, I feel fortunate to be his patient.

More than just a doctor.
I came to Dr. Newman because I lost my doctor to Covid. He immediately gave me the confidence and security that I needed in a new doctor. Easy to talk to and gives you plenty of time to communicate your concerns. Dr. Newman explains his thoughts in a way that is easy to understand. This doctor goes out of his way to help you with your needs.

Wonderful Care
I took my parents to see him. I am an ICU nurse and I know that he and his team have been crazy busy fighting COVID in the hospitals and post COVID patients with heart-related complications the past 2+ years. Despite being post-call, he was patient, thorough and helped me take care of my family. Jessica and Katie were amazing as well. So happy he didn't quit or retire during all this craziness. I always look forward to seeing him walk into the ICU. He really cares. We waited about 6 hours to see a lung specialist after waiting 3 months for appointment, but understand there are fewer specialist available now. We understand you're gonna wait a bit now until things "normalize". Keep going doc! Appreciate all you and your team do and thankful you try so hard for us.

I did not have an experience with Dr. Newman because he kept me waiting for 90 min. I never saw him. And I am certain that I never will.

He is a doctor who actually listens to what you have to say and then takes time to repeat what you said to be sure he heard you correctly. He will go out of his way to help you in any way you can, but he also expects you to do your part to take care of yourself and do what he suggests for you to do. He researches things for you if he doesn't have an answer right away and will get back to you. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. He's not a doctor who is trying to rush you in and out.

I was referred for second opinion from my cardiologist. He spent time to look at my tests and listened. I am anti-pills, but he explained why I needed them. He was willing to let me off meds once I lost weight and exercised. I have lost 30 lbs and sleeping better. He found my stress level very high and I started yoga. Feel better and at least on less pills thus far. Refreshing doctor. Worth waiting all day to see. He is not for those who don't want skin in the game! RT
