He really took his time with me, explained everything in detail, was very warm and friendly too

He listens . He cares . He remembers. He notices the small things ( " you lost a few pounds " ) as well as the big stuff. The best .

Dr. Margulis was condescending and completely dismissive of my concerns. I met with him because my usual gastroenterologist, Dr. Broussard, was unavailable, and this was an emergency appointment. He made remarks regarding my previous Celiac diagnosis, claiming that I am "not a true Celiac like his daughter," which was information that was not relevant to my appointment. When I asked for a different alternative to a test he wanted to perform, he told me I was "acting like [his] 5-year-old son when he had to take the same test." He then proceeded to belittle my teaching job, by saying that one person can do the job of the entire state’s worth of teachers. At the end of my appointment when he asked if I was going to take the test that he did not offer an alternative for before, and I responded that I would, he clapped his hands like a toddler and said “Yay! That’s what I like to hear!” I have never felt so ashamed, violated, or angered before in my life, let alone by a medical professiona

Dr. Margulis is extremely knowledgeable and comfortable to speak with. I feel as though I couldn't be in better hands.

Excellent Diagnostition

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Margulis for more than 30 years. His communication skills and his recommendations of specialists are excellent. He makes us feel that he is taking good care of us.

Dr Margulis is a wonderful, compassionate and caring doctor. He listens to you and answers all questions. He takes his time and is very comforting when he sees his patient is nervous. If you want an excellent doctor then Dr Margulis is the one to go to.

Always listens and explains things well. Never feel rushed. Been with Dr. Margulis over twenty years - he's great.

Dr Margulis does my periodic colonoscopies and I consider them to be like spa days. He developed a very easy prep, I go in early in the morning and since you have to fast, there’s an excellent diner/pancake house right nearby.

I wouldn't let this doctor see my worst enemy. He is not to be trusted and has NO bedside manner. He should not be practicing with human beings as he is not a nice person.
