I had a horrible experience with this doctor. I had a ruptured appendix and was treated with antibiotics for a week and no surgery was performed. This happened just before the pandemic and I ended up loosing my job. This doctor took it upon himself to relentlessly call me and harass me over my hospital bill which has nothing to do with him and I was dealing with separately with the hospital’s billing department. I ended up ignoring his calls and he started leaving voicemails saying I would end up in court and then started calling my husband. I ended up resolving my billing issue with the hospital directly but he was a nightmare I had to block him.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Litvak. The first day I met him in the hospital bed, he gave me the full course of what to expect He checked on me and his other patients everyday including weekends. He answered questions patiently and diligently. He speaks with his patients respectfully and professionally. He is personable with a good sense of humor. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Litvak operated on me in January 2015 for a left inguinal hernia repair. He was supposed to do a repair with a mesh, and the report from LIJ says that he did a repair with mesh. I needed again surgery for left inguinal hernia this month, and my surgeon certified that there was no mesh put three years ago, and that the repair was not done properly, which is why it needed to be done again after three years..

Dr Litvak at first seems very personable and was relentlessly calling me to get surgery done on a benign tumor. I told him if its benign why am I to have surgery? He said it s better to take it out and that he would handle insurance issues. Needless to say I told him Id get a second opinion he is hard to get hold of and the past 2 1/2 months Ive been trying to get my films and cd images back from him. He never returns phone calls and seems to be a ghost. I DONT recommend dealing with this dr!!!

dr. litvak saved my life. while i was in the ER and no one was able to figure out what was wrong with me. Dr litvak dignosed me and treated me. thanks to him they were able to treat my infection on time. He is amazing!

Dr. Litvak performed a double mastectomy on me in March. Besides being a skilled surgeon he is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. The time, understanding and care Dr. Litvak shows his patients is beyond what anyone could hope for, he is the last of a dying breed. Time spent with Dr. Litvak is time where you feel like the most important patient in the world. He treats the "whole" patient while being exceptionally caring and reassuring. He is a treasure, I would reccomend highly.

The office environment is very pleasant and calm. The woman at the front desk was very personable and efficient. I was very nervous to see the doctor as I usually am when I have to see a doctor, but he was very kind, made me feel incredibly comfortable, and he was very detailed in answering my questions without the slightest hint of annoyance or impatience. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and i definitely recommend Dr. Litvak to all!

Dr. Litvak is the best surgeon i ever had. He was my Doctor during my cancer procedure, and I could not be in better hands. I hope Dr. Litvak stay around us for a long time. I thank you very much for your service and dedication.
