He gets no star from me!
Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. Very uncaring. Do not recommend. He was on call surgeon and left me hemorrhaging in ED for 5 hours before he came to see me for 30 seconds. Wanted to send me home as hemoglobin dropped to 7.2. My nurses called him lazy, he doesn’t want to be bothered by ED when he is on call

Dismissed me when I came in showing signs of an infection. The nurse even told him to take a sample. I ended up having to have an emergency abscess drained 3 days later. Which resulted in me missing a week of work. I also had to go back to my provider Multiple times after to makes sure everything got better

I had 3 appointments scheduled with Dr. Kamara; all being at 0800 on a Monday. He was late to all of them. The first one, he was 45 mins. late. What kind of impression does this give to the patient. He also changed the surgery date and didn't inform me til after a month. I agree with the other review on here that says he is a bit of a 'hot head.' There are a lot more better surgeons out there. As a fellow Spartan, I am embarrassed.

I would not give him a 1 even, but was forced to choose a number. I was treated very rudely when he called to answer a question due to my surgeon being out of town. Definitely would not recommend, a real "hot head".

Dr. Komara is compassionate, informative, and has a sense of humor. He was every so patient listening to the myriad of questions that my family and I shot at him. He answered each question. We never felt that any question was not important.
