I think he is exceptional. He is caring and listens to you. He'll try and solve any issues you are having.

Let me fully describe every one of my concerns and questions which he jotted down and then addressed every one of them Very patient Have been his patient for about 15 years

Dr. Kaufman has been my GI physician for several years. He is an insightful physician making him a top diagnostician. The Doctor listens to his patients without interruption. He provides clear direction. He responds to email questions in a timely manner, usually the next day.

Dr. Kaufman has been caring for me for many years. He is a good listener and genuinely cares about his patients. He talks to the patient, helps them understand the problem, and then discusses solutions. His patients never feel rushed. He is an excellent, caring physician. I wish all doctors were as competent as Dr. Kaufmen!

Dr. Kaufman has been my GI physician for near 40 years. He is one of the most insightful physicians that I have ever encountered, and a wonderful listener as well. He always provides clear instruction regarding the details of treatment. If you should find yourself in a physician's examination room with Dr. Kaufman consider yourself fortunate, for you have made a great choice. In addition, Dr. K. has a great personality and he will make you feel at ease.

I first met Dr. Stephen Kaufman when I was hospitalized for 42 days right before our country’s Covid quarantine. He and his associates saved me from near death — not once but twice. Since that time I continue to see Dr. Kaufman for routine gastrointestinal office appointments, as he demonstrates competence, professionalism and compassion. Dr. Kaufman listens carefully and provides his expertise clearly. His professionalism has been shown every time that he has worked with me. Also, Dr. Kaufman’s compassion is apparent; he is caring and concerned. For his understanding, knowledge, responsiveness and dare -I -say warmth, Dr. Kaufman is a GI specialist to select.

He is always kind and patient, when explaining medical information to me. He returns phone calls and patient portal requests promptly.

Beside being a very knowledgeable doctor , Dr Kaufman is a good diagnostician and can offer a result to help you overcome you problem. He is very caring and takes time to explain just what is happening with your condition. Would recommend him to someone looking to help solve a gastronomic problem….

I've been seeing Dr. Kaufman since 2008 when he diagnosed my condition as Microscopic Colitis & has been treating me since then. He has been wonderful to me. He's always available if I need to speak to him on the phone or see him in the office. He's a marvelous diagnostician & I will continue to see Dr. Kaufman as long as he's practicing,

Dr K has been my doc for close to 40 yrs, since I was 16 and I've always felt well taken care of after each visit!! I don't want to think about his retirement!!! Please don't take my doc away, let him stay and do what he loves doing and is great at!!!

I've seen 4 gastroenterologists for my lifelong stomach issues. Dr. Kauffman is the one that I trust with diagnosis and solutions. He is always attentive to my "complaints" and thoughtful in his response. I trust his judgement - and even more - it is he that I see and not an intern or student. I so value his knowledge and years of practicing. It is an experienced doctor that I will always seek - and one who doesn't rush.

Dr. Kaufman is a caring brilliant diagnostician! He spends as much time as he needs to make sure I understand his recommendations and to answer all my many questions. He even ordered some bloodwork today, just to leave no stone unturned. I will keep seeing him for as long as he practices!

There is no other doctor I have trusted more while in his care for well over 30 years. He is an excellent diagnostician because he has a brilliant mind. He is thoughtful and compassionate and has pulled me through many difficult situations. He is mild mannered and a bit on the shy side but don’t let that fool you as I’ll take someone who is an excellent doctor like he is rather then a gregarious one without those qualities. I pray he never retires daily.

Dr. Kaufman is very thorough and explains in simple terms why good nutrition is so important for my gastrointestinal health.

Dr. Kaufman is an excellent doctor in every way. He takes his time and explains everything to you. He is very thorough and he literally saved my husband’s life because of his ability to be a great diagnostician. He ordered tests that showed that my husband had bladder cancer because of him. We caught it in a very early stage. He is kind and caring and has a huge amount of knowledge in his field. We would never use another doctor.! he is simply the best!

I have IBS and have seen Dr Kaufman many times during flare-ups and he has always been very helpful in helping me manage the IBS. He has also been very patient and kind.

Amazing! Dr. Kaufman has been my GI for about 10 years! He has saved my life in the hospital when I was so sick with C-Diff and all tests were negative. He listened to me with empathy and always gave me a solution. I’ve had about 5 colonoscopies and he was always so gentle and informative. I drive about an hour to see him. Worth it though!

Thorough and took his time with me! Looked over my medical history and his explanations with my issues helped me feel so much better! Completely trust Doctor Kaufman with my health!
