Dr Hsu - One of the worse doctors I've met.
Awful. Saw him once when PMA took my good doctor away and put him doing Medicaid patients because he spoke Spanish and I guess to accommodate the influx of immigrants coming across the border. While I get this rude, former research doctor, to handle the Medicare patients. The office staff was nice, but Dr Hsu has no skills with patients. First time visit with Dr Hsu he wanted to doubled the milligrams of all my meds and add a water pill which a CKD patient should not be taking.

I usually saw Dr. Hsu in Ocala, and after having another Big argument with Dr. Hsu recently, who was my PCP, the discussion was regarding being referred out to specialists. (An Endocrinologist for my Thyroid....and the Spine Dr. For a 2nd opinion on an Epidural... which I ended up having to get the Epidural later that day anyway because I felt like I ran out of options) - Dr. Hsu also refused to look at my labs almost every visit I saw him, ... and he constantly gaslighted me while at times standing above me in a manner that was extremely intimidating, on more than one occasion !! When the pain Dr. regarding my neck asked me to ask the PCP, Dr. Hsu about a neck brace... his answer was a loud No !! ... Then, when I tried to approach him about the topic of my spine/pain, Dr. had told me to ask Dr. Hsu about a getting neck brace, for when I'm having to lean forward for long periods of time, cause I'm working on a project right now....(I even asked him to look at my MRI, which I had already been given results to, and he said "it doesn't matter" and he threw his hands up) ...So, I just bought my own at a medical supply store. .... I've tried working with him several times.... his response to me, when I asked about seeing an Endocrinologist, was appalling !! I have an identical twin that has had Thyroid Cancer and has Hashimotos Disease along with my other Sister, plus Aunt's that have Hashimotos Disease, too. I already have a nodules on my thyroid, and my labs always come back abnormal, but he doesn't care !! ....(I'm on a blender/baby food Level 1 diet right now... the most restrictive.... due to Dysphagia and he could care less) ... He's a PCP who specializes in the kidney (a Nephrologist) - but he wants to specialize in everything else on me ! When I asked him about the Endocrinologist Dr. (someone who would follow my labs, someone specializes IN the Thyroid) ... it really set him off, and he tried towering over me and pushing me out of the pt room with his body. I yelled back at him that I would be contacting Ins.... I do Not tolerate gaslighting and he'll be getting 1 star on Health Grades and Google and HealthGrades with exactly this comment everywhere I could leave a review. People should know what kind of Dr. they're about to get. He's truly not worth I, but acts like he's everything to everyone, which is not ok !! ... and Dangerous in a medical setting to be honest !! The first few times I saw him I thought he would be a good Dr., but the visits just got worse and worse to the point I was scared to go see him. I LITERALLY HAVE NO TRUST IN THIS DR. AT ALL.... But HE WANTS TO BE EVERY KIND OF DR. TO ME, (Including a Cardiologist, Pulmonologist and even canceled my Neurology referral when he found out I filed a grievance on him. That's called Retaliation, or did he want to be my Neurologist too ?? - I've had brain surgery in the past, and there's no way i would let him near my brain !! -(now because of him canceling that referral, I will run out of seizure meds)- Thanks a lot Dr. for not caring about your patients as you have proven So many times !! ....( I had to beg to establish for a new Cardiologist here in FL ... now I want one out of his system, so they don't have ties.... I feel like I just don't have a fair shot in this town) - I am a good pt... but I do NOT tolerate gaslighting from anyone, and since I moved from CA. to FL. I feel like I've had to prove my whole medical history all over again ! I finally started doing better for a moment with one Doctor, here, but she soon retired.... and I started going downhill again when I got him. it's been a struggle since I got to Florida. Even had to find a therapist cause the stress was causing more seizures!! If I didn't have the social workers at my Ins comp. helping me along.... I would be lost !

Meet and Greet with my new PCP went good. Within this first visit his attending nurse took all of my complaints and questions and history and made notes. He must’ve revised it completely when he met me. He scheduled several tests and my labs. The second visit after reviewing results - we came up with a plan to get this 71 yo back up to snuff! Pleasant, quiet, thorough. The office staff are great. They listen then answer. So many ways to contact my practice (17th St) email, portal, phone and even stopped by one time. Very Good Doctor. I hope we can keep him!
