Dr. Stephen Hoffman, DO

This was without a doubt the WORST medical experience of my 66 years. Very lax with communication, did not introduce himself to me. I was in the exam room and had to ask whether he was there. He did not walk to the bed to acknowledge me. Sent me to a facility out of my network, the only sample he or his fellows obtained was compromised and could not have a pathology exam performed. More than a year after this awful experience, I continue to receive bills. His office turned my $224.19 account over for collection and my credit rating dropped. His recommendation was for a 5-year follow up, and just 38 weeks after his pseudo exam, a thorough exam yielded 10 polyps! When I provided proof of his negligence, he removed the collection action, but the $4,000 hospital charge is still unresolved due to his staff not checking to see if my insurance covered that facility. I am about to initiate court action as this hassle is causing too much stress. Stay far away from this guy. 0 rating!

Had a colonoscopy on March 5th,.but it's now May and my primary still hasn't got my results yet, but they did manage to send me a bill. Not paying anything till my Primary Dr gets a report. Working with my insurance you get an answer. It's excuse me,.but complete BS

Can't even schedule an appointment. Primary doctor sent a request, never got a call back. Went back to primary, got an order to call an schedule my own appointment. Voice mail was full for 2 days. Got through on the third, was told to call primary to schedule appointment. Can't talk to anyone on the phone because of automated system, will have to see in person.

I didn't meet Dr. Hoffman until the actual procedure after I was sent in for an Upper Endoscopy - upon SEVERAL attempts (more than 10 phone calls) to contact his office afterwards to even GET my results, let alone discuss them, I have yet to speak to someone who legitimately works in his office. His front office staff is incompetent - no phone calls or voicemails have been returned after TWO MONTHS! Expect to be ignored but your bill will be sent on schedule with payment expected right away.
