Wonderful caring Doctor!
I have known Dr. Helper for many years. He has treated me and members of my family for hip and knee replacements. He is a kind and thoughtful doctor who only has his patients in mind.

Dr. Helper did both of my hips, and I could never have asked for anything or anyone better. He explained everything clearly and described the complete procedures. His technique is miles above many other surgeons. I was back on my feet within two weeks of surgery both times with no assistance. He is renowned in his field, and is the most honest and compassionate man that I ever had the good fortune to meet. Love everyone in his office and his entire staff. Thank God for Dr. Helper.

Dr. Helper did my total knee replacement. He explained things well and has a wonderful bedside manner. Computer guided surgery. He knows what he is doing. Physical therapists after surgery had good things to say about him. He is very responsive to questions or concerns.

My mom had knee replacement surgery that never worked. She went in for surgery a second time, and Dr. Helper was still unable to repair the damage that was done. This happened several years ago, and my mom is still unable to walk. Her knee appears to be twisted and she limps terribly. She has gone in for follow up appointments since then, and he hasn’t offered her any new solutions or advice about what to do moving forward. He is a very kind man, but hasn’t helped my mom.

Dr Helper is not only an amazing doctor but a kind, funny and compassionate man! Both my husband and I have had total knee replacements by him and nurses and physical therapists always comment about what a good job he did! He’s a ten PLUS! Sharon and Mike Hargrove

Incompetent physician who ignores recommendations of other healthcare providers. Limb threatening negative outcome as a result. Seems to be ten years behind the time on standard of care. Would avoid.

Six years ago Dr. Helper performed bi-lateral total hip replacements over a one week period of time. I recovered quickly and have had no issues since the surgery. My mobility, flexibility and stamina has never been better. I attribute my new lease on life directly to Dr. Helper's skillful talents. If you are considering total hip replacement and are reading this, you owe it to yourself to see Dr. Helper and seriously consider the anterior approach to this procedure.

Dr. Helper performed emergency surgery on me 12 years ago for a severe ankle fracture. He answered my concerns pre-surgery and was always available when I had questions post- surgery. Several months after the surgery, I twisted my ankle slightly and heard a pop. I was able to schedule an urgent appointment with Dr. Helper. As it turned out, there was nothing wrong. Dr. Helper assured me that my concerns were valid and that I should not hesitate to call his office for any reason.
