Doesn't listen to patients. Avoid this Dr.
I saw Dr. Fowler after I was rear ended at high speed on the freeway. I was in a compact car and hit by an F350 going at high speed. I began to tell Dr. Fowler what happened and he was extremely dismissive. I tried to show even photos from the accident. He didn't glance over. He didn't even touch my neck or back. He didn't ask ANY questions. He just said, 'Yeah you will be fine. You will just be sore for a few days.' So I said, 'ok, that's it? No x-rays or anything?' He said, 'I don't think X-rays are needed because I know nothing is broken.' I thought this was extremely odd considering he didn't even touch to examine me, didn't have me do any maneuvers of my body... nothing. How can you say someone is fine and will just be sore a few days when you didn't even listen to the patient telling about the collision? How can one write a note saying that the patient is able to go to work the next day? How can one know anything without listening to or examining the patient?!

Kind and generous with his time
My experience with Dr. Fowler was amazing! I took my father in for what I thought was blood in his urine. It wasn't. While in the waiting room, Dr. Fowler came out to explain to us what was actually happening. He was very kind and generous with his time.

Worst medical experience
I went to St. Francis hospital with a broken ankle. I received the worst medical care/bedside manner I have ever experienced in my life from Dr. Fowler. He was arrogant, rude and incredibly unhelpful. It was a bad break, requiring surgery. However Dr Fowler didn’t even take the time to explain what was broken. It wasn’t until a week later at a specialists office in Portland that I learned I broke all three bones. It also had to be re broken because Dr Fowler set it incorrectly. Avoid this man at all costs- I honestly have never disliked a human being more. He spent as little time as possible with me, didn’t ask one single time if I was experiencing any pain and further more sent me home in the snow and ice (cause of the break) to CRAWL up the stairs to get inside with absolutely no medication- just a prescription that could be filled the next day. Zero understanding. Zero compassion. Shame on you.

I went to St. Francis Hospital ER while having PSTD a panic attack. My partner came with me to help me because I have a disability and am on the autism spectrum Everything was fine until the emergency tech began his prep work and the doctor burst in without introducing himself, completely dismissed my partner, and while I was actively having a panic attack trying to get me to explain what happened. When my printer tried to explain he told my heart to be quiet because he wanted to hear from "the patient". I was so furious and my partner asked him to step out of the room which he barely did and I ripped off my ID and left. I will never set foot in any facility where he works ever again!
