Dr. Stephen Ford, MD

While Dr. Ford is a pleasure to work with and truly has the best bedside manner I’ve encountered, unfortunately, his front desk staff does not reflect the same level of professionalism. Specifically, Brianna, the front desk assistant, consistently displays poor attitude and a lack of courtesy. During my visits, I’ve witnessed her slamming things on the desk, sighing loudly, and speaking to patients in a dismissive manner while on the phone. It’s uncomfortable to sit in the waiting room and hear this behavior repeatedly.It’s clear that Brianna’s demeanor isn’t just an occasional bad day—it’s a pattern every time I visit. She puts on a brief, insincere persona before quickly showing her true colors. This creates a very negative experience for patients, and I can’t help but feel that Dr. Ford may lose patients due to the unprofessionalism of his front desk staff.I hope this feedback doesn’t take away from Dr. Ford’s excellent care, as he truly is great at what he does.

Dr. Ford has great bedside manner and is truly super helpful. Unfortunately, his staff is a nightmare to deal with. Every....single....prescription is a hassle to get filled, prior authorization forms are filled out and sent incorrectly, to the point where my insurance now thinks I'm on medication that I've never even heard of before. I'm currently without one of my medications for two weeks due to the staff not being able to send over a script correctly to my pharmacy. When these issues are brought up to the staff, all I get is attitude in return.Brought this up to Dr. Ford directly around a month or two ago. He said he'd address it, but the issues remain.Three strikes and you're out, but I'm on like nine or ten at this point with this. It's exhausting, frustrating, and makes me wonder why I don't find another practice that knows what they're doing.

Dr. Ford's patience in being able to listen to you and hear any concerns that you have. His personality is one of caring about his patients, and takes whatever time you need to have your questions answered. He will also refer you to specialist who .are the best to address your problem We need a MILLION more doctors of his expertise and caliber. THANK YOU DR. FORD. Mrs. Yvonne N. Brooks

Been with Dr Ford for about 4 years, he has helped me through much of my medical issue’s especially through a time I was really not well. He’s super intelligent and quick diagnosis are on point. I have not quite been with a doctor who can figure out my conditions quickly and successfully help me recover through it. And to top it off he is such a classy guy with a great sense of humor. Awesome Doctor and person !!

Extremely positive with the doctor. Exemplary bedside manner. Knowledgeable, patient and caring. His office staff has seen quite a bit of turnover and not everyone was up to expected standards. Otherwise; a heartfelt recommendation for Dr. Ford.

Dr. Stephen D. Ford had been my Primary Care doctor since 1993, when I moved to Linden, NJ. Dr. Ford is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, and he shows unlimited patience. He is very courteous, professional, and has a compassionate bedside manner. Additionally, should your medical problem require specialized care, Dr. Ford will immediately refer you to a specialist. I am extremely satisfied with having Dr. Ford, as my primary care physician.

Great primary care doctor.. Knowledgeable, well-spoken, easy to understand and willing to listen. Good 'bedside manner' and never rushed. Highly recommend.

Worst dr my family ever dealt with. Never gave us correct info or explanation. Never would I recommend him.
