Dr. Duritsch conducted my EMG. The day after my EMG I was told that based on his results I had moderate peripheral neuropathy - meaning I’d have trouble walking. I don’t. I immediately consulted a neurologist. She had the test redone else where & quickly realized that Dr. Duritsch’s test was very inaccurate. He however, says his testing was 100% correct. Two normal EMG’s later - I can assure him, it was wrong!

I did not like Dr.Duritsch because he lied and wrote a medical report on my lower extremities. He did not touch, examine or have an order to do so on my lower extremities. My lower extremities were covered with my pants, so how could he even see them let alone write a medical report on them. Also, he lied and said the standard of care allows him to stick a needle into my skin without using an antiseptic solution to clean the skin first, and then use that same needle to stick me over and over on dirtly skin. John Hopkins Medical Center and University of Rochester Medical Center both dictates in their EMG/NCS procedure to clean the skin with antiseptic solution BEFORE sticking the patient with a needle. Those 2 world renown institutions follows the gold standard of care, where as Dr.Duritsch lowered his standard care and LIED about it. SHAME on him. I will NEVER let him get near me again because he is a liar and does follow the standards of care, he is just downright lazy.
