Dr. Stephen Durant, MD

Don’t choose this MD. I’m a retired ICU RN. I didn’t not know how inaccurate and uncaring he is. I had my medical records printed after problems with the hospital ER. I found so many false entries in HIS notes that I wanted them corrected. I found incorrect medication, physical exam and vaccine histories. He said he can’t correct anything!One stated I’ve been aware of chronic kidney disease “for several months”. This is absolutely false and I’d swear in a courtroom he never discussed this with me. I can prove it because it was not in his records the 1st or 2nd time I saw him. He wrote it AFTER my 3rd visit (a month after 2nd visit). He did NOT tell me anything about it during the 3rd. If I hadn’t read his medical notes I still would not know I have this dangerous disease that can worsen. He hung up on me when I asked to have my borderline ECG (done in ER) evaluated by a cardiologist because a conduction delay can mean dangerous heart conditions. He gave no explanation-just hung up.

Complained that I began crying when I spoke about my recent falls in my patient portal. Bruised shoulder, three bruised ribs over my heart, difficulty breathing, difficulty sleeping, fractured kneecap. No medical assistance.

Did not notify me about important lab results until I contacted his office 4 days after they received result. When I finally spoke with Durant he said HE knew it was not cancer and I should have called the imaging center myself if I wanted to know result. When I told him I wanted a different provider going forward he refused to go over results of labs after I came to his office and paid for the consult.

Very well mannered, thorough and always spent time answering my questions and addressing my concerns. Some times the wait was a little long, usually not.

Always been a good doctor. Very nice office an staff.

Dr.Dre is a very compassionate caring doctor Who listens and explains very clearly anything to do with your condition, treatments, plans and medications. Dr. Durant is such a Christian type passionate person with great bedside manners. Heat treat you as a person not a number. Also he is direct gets to the point and explains the negative and positive about any type of treatment plans. I recommend dr. Durant to anyone! He must certainly gets a 5-star rating from my wife and I.
