Very thorough
I had an appointment with Dr. Coulson last week and was informed that they're closing the office. Very dissapointing - I feel like my daughter and I were just getting to know him, and I really like how he asks lot s of questions and listens to the answers. He's very thorough. I'm hoping he settles somewhere where we can still see him - he's a good doc.

The best of many!
I bring my parents to all of their doctor appointments. I like all of them, but Dr. Coulson is the best. He can explain what's going on so that we understand, and he's very thorough. We just found out that the office will be closing. We would love to stay with him whereever he goes, if possible!

Gonna miss him
I was just told that the office that Dr. Coulson works at is shutting down to make room for a different group, and that is a real shame. Dr. Coulson takes good care of me and my disabled daughter. He's very patient and gentle with her, which most people aren't. It's going to be hard to find as good a replacement - good docs like him are hard to find. Best of luck to him!

Wonderful
I just had an appointment with Dr Coulson and was told that Hancock was closing their whole office and that some of the staff has already been let go. I am heartbroken! I have high cholesterol and Dr Coulson was working to get my cholesterol down. At first I didn't see what all the fuss was about, but then I saw my eye doctor and he took pictures of the blood vessels in my eys and you can see the calcium in the vessels that he said was due to high cholesterol, so Dr Coulson was right all along and i'm so happy that he got my cholesterol to a good number, because I'd like to continue to see!! I will miss him and wish him well!

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!
He is rude, arrogant and God forbid say anything about pain. He don't want to hear anything about you being in pain. He rolls his eyes, huffs and puffs, and made me feel like I was being rushed out of my appointment. He's very unprofessional, referring to my slightly high blood pressure as being 'a little salty'. He does not listen nor care. He wouldn't even read my chart, just expected me to have everything memorized. You won't get your prescriptions on time either, especially if they are month by month. Incompetent to say the least! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

AVOID
A condescending, Arrogant Dr. He does not read or understand his patients medical history. He never has eye contact or take time to listen to his patients. If he does he acts like it is an Inconvenience.Either him or his staff is are incompetent. I requested prescriptions on the patient portal and no one followed up (Once with epilepsy medication causing me to have a seizure). I requested Promethazine refill five times and it was never called in till the next month. He focuses on your failures rather than any successes and throws temper tantrums calling you names. He insulted my ethics , Morality and Competence. Hell will freeze over before I set foot in Hancock Hospital again.

Worst Dr I EVER dealt with!!!
He was arrogant & had horrible bedside manners first off. Brought our 1 m old baby in with high fever but no other symptoms, still getting wet diapers eta and all.. nurse comes in checks temp it’s in NORMAL range. Then Dr comes in, then proceeds and does all these tests on her without first asking if I want them done & brings up possibly doing lumbar puncture for meningitis, I was absolutely not going to let him do that. Pee sample wasn’t good enough to him, so he said to do catheter & I refused & even nurses didn’t agree with catheter idea. I could have went home right away after her rectal temp was in normal range but nope.. do NOT recommend this Dr to ANYONE. If you want a genuine, personable Dr, he is THE OPPOSITE. All he wants is your money, doesn’t care about anything else.

Not sure why he'd have any bad reviews. He asked a lot of questions ordered the right tests and figurred out my pain right the first time. My Sanford doctor had told me it was a pinched nerve and it turned out to be an anurism. I owe my life to him. You haters are a bunch of babies. We're lucky to have him!

A very arrogant and rude doctor. I have never experienced someone that talks down to people like this man did. I don't think he needs to be in this profession. He barely listened to the patient and immediately talked to his patient like he was completely incompetent. I find it hard to believe anyone would hire this person to take care of patients. I think I would take my chances and drive to a different ER if need be.

He has a very poor bedside manner, very rude, and arrogant. I ended up in the ER and he refused to do any tests because I didn't look like anything was wrong. I'm not the only one who feels like he shouldn't be a Dr. Because he going to end up costing someone's life because of his arrogance. He told me all of my other Drs are wrong and so were the nurses.
