I would give fewer stars
I was a patient for my entire childhood until aging out. In the last few years under his care, I began exhibiting migraines, extreme fatigue, hair loss, anxiety, heart palpitations, temperature sensitivity and weakness/mobility issues. None of this was acknowledged and I was put on a migraine preventative. After aging out I had my thyroid checked to find it at outrageous levels and my current doctors deduced I had gone undiagnosed for multiple years. I had and still have a large goiter and was told by my current doctor it is very obvious I have a thyroid condition but because of my weight when I was under Chakmakjian’s care and meeting growth milestones none of my symptoms were taken seriously. If your child is female or female presenting and or plus size seek out someone more understanding and in my opinion, experienced don’t let them suffer because a care provider doesn’t care.

Absolutely terrible. He is very condesending, rude, and judgemental. I would not recommend him to anyone ever. My teenage daughter was having trouble with depression and he proceeded to tell her that she should act her age and wear appropriate clothing (she was wearing skinny jeans with rips below the knees and a regular length Champion tshirt). He then continued on and started telling us stories about how his 16 year old twins dont even have a cell phone, which didnt have anything to do with us. If you enjoy being parent shamed about what works for your family he might be the right guy for you. The office always has very long waits for care that is not worth it. I will say though that the nurse practioners here are great though. The are sensitive, caring, and non-judgemental.
