Not Thorough!
I saw him after his predecessor retired, and he did NOT DO A THOROUGH EXAMINATION as I have always had previously with my former doctors at all! He only looked at each of my eyes briefly with his little hand held lense even though I have a spot on the back of one eye, cataracts and other eye problems! I certainly miss Dr. Pireau!

Zero communication skills
This man has zero communication skills. When I dared to ask questions about the treatment and prescription I was spoken to in a rushed and harsh manner. We won't be back.

Cataract Surgery Disaster
He replaced the lens in my right eye. Can't see near or far. He told me it was because the lens I chose. Prior to surgery he told me that I would see as well as my left eye and would probably only need reading glasses. I also told him at the post operation meeting that there was a huge "floater" that appeared when I looked to the left. He said that was the aqueous solution in my eye. Never should have had it done. It's been almost two years now. In search of another doctor.

What an exceptional doctor! I could not be more pleased with my cataract surgery and care in general. Dr Capps is professional, knowledgeable, focused on his patients’ well being, and is, indeed, kind. His staff is excellent. I am grateful my ophthalmologist recommended him.
