Dr Burpee explained the procedures for fixing a hiatal hernia which has caused me to suffer from constant heart for the last 6 months and none of the medications worked. He was very detailed about the options that I had and what is involved with each type of surgery. He was very polite and I felt confident. His knowledge on the latest produces and the expertise on the subject were great. His staff was also polite and courteous.

Very informative and staff was very nice ..They are always available for any questions i had. Dr Burpee is very nice and speaks in terms you can understand every step. Awesome team!

Dr . Burpee and his team did a great job explaining the process for the gastric sleeve. They were wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend!

I'm a senior citizen with diabetes who needs to lose a lot of weight and thought bariatric surgery was something I should explore. I started the "insurance approval process" in July, 2019, which I expected would take 6 to 7 months. I met Dr. Burpee once in January, and he was pleasant enough. However, the follow up by his office staff was non-existent. In January, I was told they had everything they needed to submit it to my insurance. The Dr. ordered one more test, which I had performed right away. No one ever called with the test results. When I called, I was told there was still 2 items they hadn't received. I called the office again to follow up, but never received a return phone call. They will probably try to blame it on the pandemic, but their poor patient follow up started way before that. I feel like I wasted a lot of time and money just trying to qualify for the surgery. Extremely disappointing. This patient doesn't have the patience to continue!

Dr Burpee was my surgeon and the pre and post op visits were excellent. He truly cares about his patients and performs his job in a professional manner. i would recommend him for hiatal hernia and Linx lower esophagus surgeries.

Dr. Burpee performed my gastric bypass in February 2013. I attended the pre-op seminar which Dr. Burpee led as he explained the various procedures he performs and found him to be very informative. Every time I have had a visit with Dr. Burpee, he is patient and takes the time to answer all of my questions. Office visits are right on scheduled. Additionally, he has surrounded himself with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I had a gastric sleeve with Dr. Burpee. He is a great surgeon! I had no issues whatsoever. Dr. Burpee was always very kind and professional and always willing to answer my questions. His staff is just as amazing. I recommend Dr. Burpee to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Burpee did my gastric sleeve way back in Jan. 2005 . I had it laparoscopic. You can't see any incision spots. I lost almost 100 pounds. I have kepted it off . Dr. Burpee also did my husbands gastric bypass. We both really like and trust Dr. Burpee as a surgeon.

Dr. Burpee is amazing! Great bedside manner. Explains everything in layman's terms. All of his staff is outstanding from the front desk, the coordinators, the medical assistants and nurse practitioners. I cannot say enough about his practice!!

April 2014, Bariatric Bypass surgery. Lost 80 lbs in 8 months and kept it off for two years. His NP Nurse, Debbie Belcher, is outstanding in everything she does and helps the patient to understand instructions. Everyone in his office staff is professional and courteous. This decision to have Dr Burpie do my surgery was the best decision of my life.
