Excellent Doctor, Excellent recovery
Dr. Brown did a shoulder replacement and I am no stranger to recovering from surgeries so I can assure you that the skill of the Doctor and the follow-up of the staff in paramount to a quick successful recovery. Mine was smooth and quick with very little after pain. My range of motion is remarkable. I had him do my knee replacement and again a successful surgery. Then the other shoulder was done too with a quick recovery and very good range of motion.Dr. Brown is very professional and surrounds himself with staff that you can have confidence in. He is thoughtful, understanding and explains things completely in a way you can understand. I guess you can tell that I'm giving him a 5-star rating.

What an amazing Doctor!
I recently had a full knee replacement surgery at Rome Orthopedic. Dr. Stephen Brown and Brooke Bingham PA-C were such an amazing team! It’s only been 2 1/2 weeks and I am about 80% back to normal. All the pain is gone and I am loving my new knee. I highly recommend you take the time to go see them!

Worst doctor ever
This is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He wasn't successful in treating the injury. He didn't explain things well when I asked him questions. You are better off finding another doctor.

My real name is James Neal. I broke my collar bone on October 5, over a month ago and have not been able to have it treated since leaving the ER. I've been in excruciating pain for the entire time, often thinking of giving up and just ending it all. Last week I was referred to Dr. Brown by the VA, and they accepted the consult then. Today, on Veterans Day, I was told by his staff that they will not treat me, because I do not live in their area. This is the only Orthopedic doctor who will accept VA patients anywhere near my home, and he's a 90 minute drive. This is nothing short of a kick in the groin, of a veteran, on Veterans Day. Needless to say, I cannot recommend a doctor who seems completely devoid of compassion. This review will not post without at least one star, so actually, no stars for Dr. Brown. If you want a doctor who cares, find another one. Addendum: By stalling on this decision to not treat me, they delayed my already late treatment and caused several days of
