Dr. Stephen Boveri, MD

I have been to three different gynecologists and he has been OUTSTANDING! With my first miscarriage, a woman doctor from Mercy South (St. John's), was very short with me, didn't explain anything, came super cold about it, and with that, I suffered health issues with my miscarriage for FOUR MONTHS. Stephen on the other hand, has been SUPER informative, helpful, and has made my second miscarriage A LOT easier. During my D&C, he came out beforehand, held my hand, and talked to me on an emotional level before sending me back. No one can convince me that this man does not care about his patients. I never had a doctor that cared so much. He called my husband after the procedure and talked to him too. I just love the guy. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is looking.

He has been my doctor for years. His dad treated my mom and I gave him a try. He was beyond informational during my treatment for endometriosis and all of my issues. He fixed me up and I've been great ever since. He has great bedside manner and takes time to explain things. I would highly recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr Steve for around 15 years and have been completely satisfied with his service. He's very nice and personable and makes you feel at ease. When I had an issue that sent me to the emergency room, the ER docs wanted to do surgery to remove some infected tissue. They called in Dr Steve and he came to the ER and check it out and I only needed a drain tube inserted. He saved me from an unnecessary surgery and I an forever grateful for that! In reading the other comments about how rude and demeaning he is to overweight patients, that's not true. I'm overweight and not once has he ever made a comment or treated me any differently.

Dr. Boveri is amazing!! I have gone to him for almost 20 years; I cannot imagine going to any other doctor!! I moved from Missouri to California and Texas... I still travel to MO to see him. He's the best, and his staff is just as wonderful!

He is a wonderful doctor! He is very knowledgable and kind. He went out of his way to schedule a procedure that I needed. He personally called me after hours to schedule it and then again the next day to check on me. He went above and beyond and I'm very grateful for him! I would recommend him to anyone.

I gained a lot of unexplained weight after my baby. He told me it was from eating too many cookies & chips! Didn't explore further. Turned out my thyroid is not working! He mistook me for a gay woman- even tho we just spoke in his office about my husband and daughter. During the exam He said come out come out where ever you are to my private area! He was speaking of my weight hindering his view of my parts. I loved Dr. Boveri until this. He overbooks and is demeaning to overweight- Rude staff

He was funny and great at first, but as soon as i had a problem, he automaticly shut down, yelled at me over the phone, and told me i had to be on birth control, despite the fact that birth control didnt work the first time.
