Dr. Benz took care of a terribly arthritic hip that I had. It was waking me up every night with pain. I couldn’t hardly do my work. He did a hip replacement and I could tell the difference the night of surgery. I feel like he gave me my life back. Everything he told me would happen happened. Thanks Dr Benz

I love this doctor. He is very factual. A lot of great doctors have poor bedside manner. He's probably not interested in your feelings but he cares a great deal about your body and makes every possible effort to restore it. I had a boxer fracture, so he put a plate(and screws) in my hand. He gave more than enough meds and I have not had one single issue with my hand. Thank you, Dr. Benz.

I took my 86 year old mother to see Dr. Benz after having had a bad experience with another orthopedic doctor. My mother is in a wheel chair. When Dr. Benz walked in the room the first thing he did was pull up a chair and sit in front of my mom to speak with her face-to-face. She usually has to look up at the doctors as they ask ME questions. Dr. Benz asked HER to describe her issues. He gave her time to explain, never rushing her. He then said that he had reviewed her x-rays and understoo

One of the worst doctors when it comes to bedside manner. He doesn't listen to concerns, he doesn't care about your pain, he gives you 60 seconds of his time after waiting for an hour to see him and he's not even apologetic. After surgery I was in a lot of pain and didn't have any pain meds left after day 3. He said he couldn't help me and to just go to the ER. The next time I came in I asked what to do for the pain, he then proceeded to treat me like a drug addict. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I called his office 6/29 with pain in the shoulder that he had operated on. Now it's 7/4 and I've not heard from his office. The pain has gotten worse.

Had an ACL reconstruction surgery with him last April. Am now having to go back in and get it fixed by another doctor, one of the screws was not placed properly. He more likely than not double booked appointments and either had someone else do my operation or didn't spend adequate enough time on it. Didn't show much concern for my slow progress following surgery or even take follow up x-rays.

Dr Benz is an excellent surgeon and the most gentle doctor in his aftercare of patients. I broke my wrist and arm in November, 2015. Dr Benz did a wonderful job surgically and taught me how to do my own therapy. In two months, it is amazing what i can do physically with my arm and wrist. Also, he is the most gentle caring doctor I have ever met in my 72 years. If you need orthopedic surgery, I HIGHLY RECCOMEND DR. BENZ!

Terrible wait times for both a morning and afternoon appointments. No one even apologized for the long wait or offered to reschedule when I arrived. I waited over 50 minutes in the waiting room. This doctor also over books. I saw multiple patients with the same appointment time as myself. The doctor himself is not friendly and will not give our MRI results over the phone thus costing you, the patient another co-pay.
