Dr. Stephanie Shaw, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Stephanie Shaw for a few years now. She is my favorite specialty doctor because she is so efficient, thorough, caring, and has helped improve my health tremendously. I prefer coming in for office visits to Tlelehealth visits.

I’ve never had a Dr that cared about me as a person before patient quite like Dr Shaw. There is no way to adequately describe how much she means to my family and me.

Dr Shaw always takes time to explain everything and she makes sure you understand what’s being said. She answer every question and concern you have. She send notes on everything we talked about and instruction she gives to make better choices. Dr Shaw is the greatest!!

Very understanding. Listens to you, asks questions. Makes sure you understand your medical condition.

She is patient, understanding, and she listens! I think that’s the thing I appreciate the most is that she listens to the description of how I feel and acknowledges it instead of dismissing it, doing what she can to address my issues. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw, to anyone who’s looking for an endocrinologist.

She takes her time, talks about your test results, answers questions, and really cares about your condition and concerns!

Dr Shaw listens, is so knowledgeable about everything endocrine and then more! She has helped me become the healthiest me! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Shaw! The absolute BEST!!!

Time flies. Dr Shaw has been caring for my health for over 10 years. I am very thankful for her and for being so caring. I see her both in person and virtually. She provides the same attention either way.

Dr. Shaw is the absolute best Endocrinologist I have ever had. Caring, respectful, and understanding. You won't find any better.

Never have I had a doctor as knowledgeable as Dr. Shaw. She takes time in detail with her patients and explains things to you. I appreciate her caring and compassionate way. I have seen her a few times now since recently moving to Texas and feel so blessed I was sent to her. Dr. Shaw went even as far as writing things down for me and drawing diagrams or whatever necessary to make sure that I understand everything. I could never say enough good about her because she goes above and beyond to help. I have to travel a distance to my appointments and I did have one tela appointment and nothing made a difference because I am not a number with her. She definitely is devoted to her patients which is a great feeling because she makes it clear to contact her anytime if needed between appointments. I thank God for allowing her to become my doctor. Thank you Dr. Shaw and thank you to the staff that you have. They took are awesome!

She is caring and explains everything to you… she doesn’t rush you and answers all your questions you go away feeling she is taking the best care possible for you she’s the best of the best!

Compassionate and good listener

I think Dr Shaw cares about her patients. She actually takes the time to answer any questions I have until I get it. I think she Great!

She has a wealth of knowledge across a variety of issues. She also treated my husband for a totally different health issue. She keeps one updated on choices in treating the whole person rather than concentrating on just one concern. She wants her patients to be the healthiest that they can be

Been seeing Dr. Shaw for many, many years. I would follow her practice anywhere she goes. She listens with interest, compassion and understanding. No question for her is ever a “stupid” question, as she always validates my questions and concerns and has never, ever rushed me in and out of an appointment. I don’t know where I would be without her knowledge and heartfelt interest after I went through thyroid cancer. This lady is absolutely phenomenal!!!!

Dr. Shaw has patiently and thoroughly explained lab results and worked tirelessly with me to help me maintain my health after having my thyroid removed due to cancer. She is very concerned with my health and I am very thankful to have her to work with me.

I have seen Dr. Shaw since she was at Texas Diabetes. She’s now at Ascension Health in temple. I don’t mind virtual consultation as I find I very convenient for my schedule. She’s a great listener and I never feel rushed during my appointment. She writes everything down and is great with follow up appointments. I don’t have to repeat anything from last appointment but rather giver her an update on my current health.
