Dr. Stephanie Pitsilos is thorough, efficient, competent, and insightful. She doesn't waste your time but you don't feel rushed, just appropriately dealt with. I admire a doctor who can do a good job, leave the patient feeling cared for, and yet doesn't waste efficiency with a lot of unnecessary platitudes. She is clearly the right physician for me and my family.

I saw Dr. Pitsilos for a lung condition. I did everything she instructed, and things were fine for a while. Then, at an appointment, she treated me like I was not following her instructions. I asked her why and assured her that I was doing everything she had told me to do. She said only that "It (my lung disease) can get better." I asked for more recommendations, which she did not give. A number of months later, I called with a question. I spoke with the nurse. When I did not hear back with an answer after 3 days, I called and asked to speak directly with the doctor. The nurse said, "That's not going to happen." She took my question again and said she would ask. I never heard back. I recently called and asked for some MRI results for my new doctor. They said that they had no record of the MRI having been done. I would not trust this practice, and even if I still respected Pitsilos, I would find another doctor because of the attitude of her nurse.

Misdiagnosed my gallbladder bladder infection. I came close to dying. Ordered hospital staff to stomp on feet to make me walk when I was too weak to stand. It didn't work. Her object is to feed her big ego, not to help people.

Dr. Pitsilos is an outstanding Physician! She explains things so fully and Detailed that they are entirely understood. The time she spends with a Patient may not be the quantity desired by the patient, but the quality is More than valuable. By definitician, she is a Physician....not just a Doctor. I saw her today after a long winter of low energy and general lethargy. I retuned home after an invigorating and encouraging visit with her.
