Dr. Stephanie Hoff, MD

I transferred my care to dr. Hoff at the urging of a family member who couldn’t say enough good things about her. Unfortunately my experience has been the complete opposite. I have been without blood pressure meds for over a week on multiple occasions because she doesn’t respond to request from the pharmacy. She frequently cancels appointments then refuses to fill my meds because I haven’t been in to see her as a result of her cancellation. She is very dismissive when I bring up health concerns and she rushes through appointments. She has said to me she doesn’t have the time for anything other than the reason for the appointment. So if I have multiple issues I have to make an appointment for each one. I could go on and on but there is a character limit.

Dr. Hoff is unprofessional and demeaning. From casually throwing around the name of a disease without a documented diagnosis or prior discussion about symptoms, to prescribing medications without the full picture, to guilting her patients for asking questions (the list could go on, but I'm tired), it has been a stressful experience for my family with Dr. Hoff. She wants a quick appointment and to be on her way. Her bedside manner is that of a moody teenager and her explanations can be contradictory. I hate to say it, but the rumors are true. Please save you and your family the stress and establish with a more compassionate and competent provider.

Dr Hoff is very kind and smart. She truly takes time and listens. She has even called me on her day off to see how I was feeling. Dr Hoff has a heart of gold!!

Due to the doctor's own medical issues - not able to provide care for current patients. She was suppose to be monitoring our family member's progress in skilled care - our family member experienced issues with over medication, lack of medical supervision and general disregard for her medical care. When another family member approached her with concerns - she was dismissive and unprofessional.
