Dismissive
Met Dr. Caywood 4 years ago. She was arrogant, uncaring, and unhelpful to my pain. Didn't even try to help me find a solution. I hadn't taken time to see why I hurt every month, and I was finally taking time for myself in 2019 to figure things out. She didn't want to do any testing, said it was pointless. She was stern about it. A person like myself, this shuts me down. I haven't taken time in the last 4 years. Now I have chronic pain in more than my reproductive parts, and more often than 4 years ago. I am unable to keep up with my life and children. Yes, I was younger, 29, yes I'm still young, 33. I went one time, and never saw her again.

I was referred to Dr. Caywood by another physician. Even though I was very apprehensive prior to my initial visit, I was completed satisfied with how kind and caring she was. Given the opportunity I will highly recommend her to friends and relatives. Additional I would like to stress that the entire office staff were very kind and caring.

Concerns about a possible UTI. Called the office and got to see her in a few days! I am almost 70 years old. She is fantastic. Took her time to talk to me and look me in the eye AND she LISTENED!!! I actually prayed to find a woman GYN as there are only men in my area. Two weeks later I found Dr. Caywood who has an office five minutes from my home! Her office personnel are in a class all of their own! MOST of the time when you visit doctors the front desk acts like they are doing you a favor and do not smile and they look like their job is the last place they want to be no matter what day of the week it is. EVERY time I enter Dr. Caywood's office they smile and look genuinely glad to see me and want be able to help me. Caywood's nurses are sweet, patient and very considerate of your wants and needs at the time. I actually look forward to seeing all of them. If you need an OB/GYN, run, do not walk, to Dr. Stephanie Caywood's office.

I actually had no issues with Dr. Caywood's care. Due to billing issues caused by her office staff, I would strongly discourage visiting this office to anyone using health insurance. This was a routine annual exam that has cost me countless hours and months of headaches and is still unresolved. My insurance (Aetna) and the pathologist her office uses (Vivid) are baffled as to how they have managed to turn this into such a mess. Now, when I attempt to contact Vivid I only get a disconnected msg.

Dr. Caywood takes the time to thoroughly explain things. She made sure I was comfortable with how to proceed with a health issue. My only concern with her was, that she made light of my anxiety. I have Grave's Disease and after years of dibiltating symptoms was finally diagnosed last year. The way I was handled over the years really effects how I approach my healthcare now. Anxiety and panic attacks are no laughing matter. Despite her remark, I still think she's a very caring and capable doctor.

Dr. Caywood delivered my first child and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. She has such a calming, relaxed presence about her and yet you can tell she has everything under control. For appointments she is professional and takes care of business but she sits down to talk to you like she has all the time in the world. She is efficient and caring all in the same breathe. I recommend her and everyone at Northwest Florida Woman Care every chance I get.

My baby was born 3 weeks early due to pregnancy complications. Dr. Caywood provided excellent prenatal and surgical care and closely monitored me which is why my baby was born healthy via an urgent C-section. Pathology reports showed things could have been very different if I had not been supervised so well. Thank you Dr. Caywood for making what could be deemed a scary delivery a good experience. My newborn's pediatrician said that my baby looks perfect!

I finally found the best, Dr. Caywood!!! The last two Doctors I saw for my recent issue were very rude, hard to get a hold of and did not believe my symptoms. They treated as a number, not a name. Dr. Caywood was and is thoughtful, listens to every word, is very - very knowledgeable, the office staff is wonderful, and Dr. Caywood did a much-needed surgery. I am beyond grateful for her and her staff!
