Dr. Burgeson has been my excellent primary care doctor for over 25 years. As time went on, doctors and patients had way less quality time together. Dr. Burgeson was bothered enough by this fact that he decided to become a concierge doctor instead. Now the doctor patient relationship is much more desirable. I feel no time pressure at all during my visits and I can reach him by email or phone and he responds promptly....this is what a practice should feel like. It is worth every penny!

I have been a patient of Dr. Burgeson for 15 years. In that 15 years he has given me the utmost care and provides personal attention to my specific issues. He listens intently to me and gets to the bottom of the problem to find a solution. I like the way he doesn't just use standard solutions for my symptoms but provides an analysis and curtails my diagnosis specifically for me with my medical history. He also monitors my prescription drugs to make sure they all interact correctly

I called in December and got an appointment with Dr. Burgeson for February, a few weeks later the office called and cancelled and rescheduled. Then... it happened again. They called and rescheduled the second appointment. Then, much to my frustration, they called and cancelled the third appointment. It's now April, 4 months later from my first call, and I have no appointment. I think it's time to find a different doctor and am going to look outside Healtheast.

I have been Dr. Bergeson‘s patient for many years. I have found him careful, competent, and friendly. I recommend him very highly. Whenever he’s had questions he had others involved in my care and saw appropriate additional information

Prevention is my passion.  I work hard with my patients to review their medical history, family medical history, labs and other tests, and physical exam to evaluate for medical issues or potential issues in the future that we can work on together to minimize or treat.  

biography

I attended Carleton College 1980-84, University of Illinois at Chicago medical school, and completed my Internal Medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1992.  I have been in practice in the St. Paul area since then.
