I don’t know why these bad reviews
I don’t understand where the bad reviews are coming from. One sounds like a personal issue which should be handled as such and not left as a professional review. Leaving a bad review over a personal issue should not be a determining factor in selecting a good Dr. My experience with Dr Hewitt was great. I was admitted into the hospital for COPD exacerbation on 2/5/2024. I saw my normal Pulmonologist and I saw Dr Hewitt. Any other Dr’s sent in a PA or NP. I appreciate any Dr that shows up to see me themselves. PA and NP’s are great but as ill as I’ve been, I was relieved to be seen by the Dr. since he was in charge of my overall care in the hospital. He answered any question I had, didn’t rush me and obviously read my chart because he answered almost every question I had without looking at the chart. Honestly, if he had a practice closer to where I live, I’d change my primary Dr. I feel I’d get better care. I felt that comfortable with the care I received from him in the hospital.

Never saw my dad upon admission. Never looked for him. Didn't check to see if he had passed out in the bathroom. YET wrote orders that weren't executed for 4 hours. Never returned calls and pages to talk with me. Inexcusable.
