Excellent!
I have had Dr. Horne follow me throughout tonsil cancer. She has been an excellent, personable, and thorough provider. She answered all of my questions personally, called me three times and was compassionate and understanding through all of my questions and anxiety. She performed my surgery with expertise and answered all of my family's questions. I really can't say enough good things about her. She is amazing! She has taken a horrible experience and made it the best it could be. She also did my sinus surgery a couple of years back with excellent results. I highly recommend Dr. Horne and SWO ENT.

Working with Dr. Horne has been a wonderful experience… she performed a total thyroidectomy on me recently and it went beautifully. I was so scared but throughout the entire process she was kind, thorough, and attentive. She was the first surgeon I spoke to, and then the last after getting other opinions. I absolutely felt the most comfortable with her and am so glad I trusted her judgement. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Horne for anything thyroid.

I went with high expectations following a referral for an abnormal thyroid ultrasound. I waited over a month for the appointment and the Dr could not get out of the room fast enough. No attention was paid to my symptoms and she said there is nothing I can do for you and I don't think you even need a follow up in one year. She mentioned that no nodules are large enough to worry about. On my way out the door she handed me a copy of my ultrasound report (that I had never seen) and it clearly states that an abnormal nodule was found that is considered high risk for malignancy. Radiology recommended close monitoring of the nodule! My family doctor was not happy with the results of the appointment and has since referred me to another ENT for a second opinion. I understand the protocol for small nodules, but I felt totally dismissed by this physician.

She saved my sons life when he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She was my surgeon for polyps and septum. She was my sister's surgeon for septum. She's devoted and informed us exactly what was happening what was going to happen. Straight up the best

In 2018, Dr. Horne fixed my deviated septum, performed balloon sinuplasty, & removed turbinates. I was scared & almost cancelled. But her professionalism, experience & nice personality made me feel so at ease that I went through with the operation. She did a fantastic job! I can breathe now! Had no complications. She explained everything & made me feel “safe” throughout the operation. She made sure I was comfortable as possible during my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Horne.

This was my first visit to Dr. Horne. I arrived early and she took me right away. She asked some basic background questions, the reason for my office visit and asked what I expected the visit outcome to be. She answered all my questions, offered recommendations of things I should do differently and in my opinion, did not rush any part of the examination.

Dr. Horne has great bed side manners and is very attentative. She did my tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy a few years ago when I was 26. Given the condition I was in I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon to take care of me.

I was referred to Dr. Horne due to a goiter that had grown in size in my neck, so we removed it. she was absolutely amazing one of the sweetest Dr's i had met. Her team in her office that i have dealt with from the schedulers to the her NP ladonna were all very pleasant. I am due to have surgery 5/10/17 on my tonsils and she was very upfront about the recovery since i am older. She's always been upfront and honest always making eye contact she made me feel comfortable and in good hands.

Our family was very pleased with Dr. Horn. She is very informative with a great bedside manner an Patient advocate. Very pleasant (as can be) experience, in which the surgery was a high risk surgery. I will always be grateful for her and highly recommend Dr. Horn.

I have a family history of thyroid cancer, so I was a very nervous patient the first time I met Dr. Horne. I had a goiter on the right side of my neck that was visibly prominent, so my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Horne. Dr. Horne's office got me in to see her immediately, and she's been aggressively managing my health ever since. I just got a call from Dr. Horne right after my surgery. She called to check in on me and tell me the good news that my tumor is benign!

Dr. Horne performed a complex surgery on my sinus cavites while I served as an active duty military officer stationed at Wright Patterson AFB. OH. I would regard her as a top performer within her profession and specialization. She has an outstanding bed side manner and listened to what I conveyed to her in regard to symptoms. This allowed her to make an accurate assessment of my condition to perform corrective surgery. She was precise in the end and my condition has been corrected 100%!

Dr. Horne always seems to be in a big hurry, which is strange considering how I wait for about 35-40 mins for her to come into the room once I'm led back. My questions go unanswered and I'm often continuing to ask for help as she's walking down the hall to her next patient because she hardly spends any time with me. My surgery was rescheduled and NO ONE notified me, I only found out because I luckily called to verify the time. Cannot recommend.

I heard good things, so I went. Referrals didn't match expectations. I had throat pain for years and was hoping she could finally nail it. Took over a month to get in despite telling them I had a breathing obstruction. She focused on the voicebox despite finding regrown tonsils that were already removed, used unnecessary tools ($300 billed for 1 minute), staff told me to repeat myself often despite being in pain. 200 Prilosec pills, and 6 voice therapy treatments later, still the same pain.

Dr. Horne took great care to ensure we all understood the process and outcome . She made my daughter feel comfortable with her. She never rushed during our visits. Dr. Horne's staff at Southwest Dayton is outstanding as well . I highly recommend Dr. Horne.

I always wait about 20-40 minutes in the room for Dr. Horne if I don't get one of the first couple appointments in the morning. In my opinion she is very in-and-out and rushes through everything. I feel I only see her for a few minutes. I continue to have problems and she keeps brushing it off as allergies. I don't feel my problem has been fixed.
