Dr. Stefanie Haynes, DO

I am a 51 year old college, educated woman.(majoring in biology). Luckily for my health sake, I have a great depth of knowledge about many health issues and pathologies. Dr. Haynes stranded me in the hospital for nearly a week, refusing to treat me due to the fact that insurance does not like to pay for gallbladder surgeries inpatient unless have lodged gallstones. I repeatedly told her that I required the surgery to leave the hosp since I was having pain and vomiting every time I had a full meal. Thus, I told her that I could not go home and do the same procedure outpatient. When I questioned the reliability of the scan, she patronized me and told me that I should invent a better hida scan then. She talked over me most of the conversation and did not let me expand on my symptoms. From day 1 she didn’t care that I was unable to leave the hosp bc I couldn’t eat and was set on not operating on me bc she was afraid of not getting paid. Turns out a diff surgeon did operatete and Ins paid

Direct style of communication and very informative. Exudes a confidence in her capabilities, an essential component of any surgeon. Very involved with us through my husband’s colon resection and recovery. Would highly recommend her for GI surgery.
