Worst doctor ever
This doctor seen me for 5 minutes and told me to walk and said I don't give out pain medicine I never had asked him for that I wanted x-ray and injections for this he treated me like a drug addict and I will be making a complaint about this and his actions

I was sent for an IME after having a back injury from work (I am a full time paramedic). This 'physician' cleared me for full time duty after first being 45 minutes late and 10+ patients waiting, second he began his time with me by reviewing another patients chart in front of me, third he spent less than 10 minutes with me questioning me about my injury, stated he reviewed my 2 previous MRI's prior to seeing me (but also seeing 2 other patients in the 5 minutes he was there). I am now cleared to work as a full time paramedic without being able to lift heavy objects, bend over, squat down, having constant back pain, and intermittent pain and numbness in my left leg. During this time, there was very minimal physical exam, while the physician took a phone call, and hardly looked up from his phone and papers.

Workman's comp IME
This guy lied and said that I was able to go back to work. I've had 3 back surgeries and still I'm unable to sit, stand or walk for any length of time. All he cares about is getting paid from these insurance companies! He lied about doing certain tests (knee bends e.g. ) still cannot do 1. Cutoff from my benefits and can't pass a physical! Thanks a lot LEE!!!! I'M SURE YOU CAN SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT TOO!!! You should be ashamed for lying!!!

He looked at his phone the entire time I described my excruciating back pain/issues, then told me that "pain is a part of life" and sent me on my way.

Do Not Recommend
He must be on the spectrum with some sort of social disorder. He’s all great bringing you into his care but when it comes to after care this man is profoundly inept re: his ability to treat his patients with individualized care. It seems like he has great difficulty understanding that not all patients fall into the typical or expected guidelines and/or outcomes. He is also very blunt with his opinions and certainly has no concept of treating his patients with dignity and respect. He has no regard that his patients come with feelings and emotions along with their physical spine issues. Good doctors know how to approach sensitive issues with compassion utilizing education rather than blunt critical statements. He clearly has no compassion or understanding that patients may have other issues outside the realm of his expertise. His communication is very poor hence the horrific bedside manner.

I saw Dr. Lee for an injury to my spine from a fall in 2005. I have seen neurologists from the best hospitals in Boston, Houston and Switzerland for this injury, which is well documented. Dr. Lee told me that they were all wrong after looking at my mri for 30 seconds. He told me that pain and numbness are subjective, that I was not a candidate for surgery and that I should use a walker.

This Doctor should not even have a license to practice!!! He is a liar and a fraud!!! He might as well be employed by the insurance company. He literally did a 5 minute exam which mostly involved just asking questions then gave a fraudulent report back to the insurance company stating there was absolutely nothing wrong with me!!! If I could give a negative, I would. What a P.O.S. I don't know how this guy sleeps at night!!!

I started having back problems and the use of my legs 15 years ago. I have been seen by doctors at U of M and the Detroit Medical Center. I have lost the use of my legs. I can no longer walk and use a scooter. I saw Doctor Lee and he spent over an hour with me discussing my symptoms. He sent me for an MRI and saw me the very next morning which was a Friday. He knew I didn't need a spine doctor but knew that I needed to see a neurologist. He called the Neurologist he wanted me to see and got me an appointment the next Monday. Come to find out I have a lesion growing on my spinal cord that all the other doctors never saw. It is what is causing my loss of use of my legs. I am currently working with the neurologist to decide what to do. I am so happy I found Doctor Lee and highly recommend him.

Beware, if you go see this guy, I would say "doctor" but I've seen many doctors in my life, and S. Lee is very shady, .. my employer set me up go to see him for a second opinion , That evaluation was less than 5 minutes, No X-ray ,did not look at the paper work i had for him, & the evaluation was in a regular Room with carpet on the floor, no Medical equipment in the Room just a couple of tables and some chairs & a coat rack, also no paper no plastic gloves , that's unsanitary, At the end of the 5 minute evaluation he said I was perfectly fine nothing wrong,.. "BEWARE" of this guy ,"Stanley Lee," . That being said I knew it was all a bunch of BS .. he gives his paid$ opinion.. My the 3rd opinion went in my favor, cus i seen some great Real Doctors with there Honest evaluation..

Dr Lee, despite the circumstances I found myself needing to see him. Was a courteous and patient doctor. Though he was late to my appointment he still spoke to me in a kind manner and listened to what I said and what my symptoms were. Though I may disagree with his findings, being that he didn’t have all of the information available to him. I greatly appreciated his insight and personable demeanor. That being said, as an IME his job is to determine what you can do at work, not the cause.

I see these bad reviews and do not understand. Dr. Lee was very courteous, very helpful, and very professional. I went for an (IME) involving a dispute with insurance, his evaluation as I said was very professional. The facility was peaceful and clean, my wait time was minimal (less than 10 minutes) he even apologized for that and I thought nothing of it. I perceive others that left bad reviews are unfair because their determination did not go in their favor. I GIVE HIM 5 STARS, Thank you Dr.

Dr. Lee is impersonal and unprofessional. He was asked to evaluate my work injury to help come up with a better treatment plan. His physical evaluation and interview time took less than 5 minutes. Where the physical evaluation was simply going through the motions. He did not actually touch me, but checked the reflexes of my pant leg. Based on that incomplete evaluation he determined that the injury i have been being treated for, for 2 years is not work related. He removed all my restrictions

The room he brings patients to is unsanitary. There's no paper cover on the patient table. He did not wear gloves or wash his hands between patients. His dictation only included a recap of past events and doctor appointments but did not include any information about the evaluation he did which was barely an evaluation to begin with.

I have muscle spasms in my neck and shoulder and soft tissue damage from a severe car accident. The exam was only 15 minutes. The insurance companies own him. He said "If it's not broken and I physically can't see it, then nothing is wrong with you." I asked him "Don't you wanna know how my accident happened? Don't you wanna know how my pain affects my life?" He responded "That's not important."

Echoing what others have said about this fool being paid to deny cases. I am a 36 y/o health care provider who was previously very active w/ 2 herniated discs w/ nerve compression (documented on MRI & EMG). Despite trying every conservative measure over the last 6 months, pain has progressed to the point that it is interrupts my life (sleep & work), yet he continues to deny a micro-d. I'm not sure how he sleeps at night knowing he's denying necesassary treatment. I'd give him 0 stars if I could.

this guy showed up to the appointment 1:15 minutes late. he spent less than 8 minutes it was a makeshift consult in a rented office space i guess we can just use this desk as a an examine table verbatim preceded to push the envelope on mobility range with a fractured L1 and disk dislocations, asked me to do a squat, if it wasn't for the desk i probably wouldn't got back up. once i received a copy of the IME it showed all these dates that had nothing to do withe injury at work STAY AWAY
