Very good appointment and procedure
It was several years ago but I had an excellent appointment with Dr. Lee and then he did a very good job on a colonoscopy for me.

Horrible patient care!
I was diagnosed with UC by Dr. Stanley Lee in November 2022. He never ONCE agreed or suggested to meet in person to explain UC. All communication was by phone ONLY. He never followed up to see if anything he prescribed was working. He never ordered more labs to confirm that my gastrointestinal system was properly responding to treatment - it wasn't. I finally got in to see a new GI doc at another facility. My new doctor was shocked I have not had labs in 6 months! When I told Lee in Nov 2022 that UC has caused me to be depressed and that I find myself crying randomly (common with UC), he suggested I see my Primary Care Physician. I've sold pharmaceuticals for years so I've worked with hundreds of doctors and I know the difference between good and bad doctors. Dr. Lee is a bad doctor. My new doctor looked at my Nov 2022 labs and said unequivocally that I should have been hospitalized! DO NOT SEEK TREATMENT FROM DR. STANLEY LEE if you value your life.

Dr. Lee was competent, efficient at communicating, and didn't talk down. He was also very willing to weigh cost/benefit pros/cons of treatment and diagnostic options, which I found refreshing (instead of the "do everything that insurance allows" approach you can sometimes find). I would recommend

Dr. Lee doesn’t provide information on diagnoses, treatment, or how to handle care while waiting for results or appts. I was shocked at how little information I’m left with and how many questions I have to ask.

Dr. Lee saw me for unusual symptoms related to acid reflux and was incredibly thorough in his approach to addressing all of my gastrointestinal symptoms. He listened to my concerns patiently and then addressed each one of them with full disclosure as to whether he could potentially explain some of my symptoms through a detailed treatment plan. He was kind yet honest about the potential risks of treatment and the possibility of missing something or not being able to treat my conditions.
