I have been a patient of Dr. Ballou for over 15 years. For my health conditions he is an excellent doctor. He does yearly blood work and other testing and if need be will do testing more often. The doctor will also work with your other doctors to make sure every-one is on the same page in regards to treatment plans. I ask lots of questions and Dr. is willing to explain and answer.. This doctor like another has good days / bad days, he , like ,myself can be grumpy...lol

I went to see Dr. Ballou because it listed him as a Mixed Connective Tissue Dr. My anti-RNP antibody is very high. My symptoms have gotten worse over the last 1.5 years. The minute he walked into the room he had a scowl on his face like I was wasting his time. He was extremely grumpy. He said there was nothing wrong with me and that I shouldn't come back. He didn't even prescribe any tests. Doctors are supposed to help you find out what's wrong and at least seem caring.
