When I met Dr. Luetmer it was a breath of fresh air. I was struggling with ongoing symptoms that other traditional doctors had no explanation for. Dr. Luetmer was not only beyond knowledgeable... She offered a straightforward approach to getting at the root of my symptoms. She is compassionate and reassuring, and very down to earth. Dr. Leutmer has been our primary physician for over a year now. I have been very lucky to have had a chance to work with Stacey over the past several years. She was my primary care giver first in a traditional clinical setting, and now has continued through her private practice in Glenwood. I am a cancer survivor still taking medications to enhance my ability to stay cancer free. Taking some medications caused unwanted side effects and also was very very costly. I have so appreciated Stacey's help with my situation. Stacey has helped me to look for healthy and affordable alternatives for what I can use for one medication that supports my primary medication by consulting with other medical professionals regarding better options. She has also pulled together additional resources for me to use that include practical changes I can make. In addition, she provides frequent zoom meetings and educational videos to reinforce what I have been studying. Not just your physical health but your emotional health as well. She does a huge amount of research that enables her to treat not only your symptoms but to also find the underlying reasons for them and then be able to treat the root cause as well. We doctored with Stacey while she was a family practice physician at Alexandria Clinic, and were always very pleased with her attentiveness to our health. She always followed up in a timely manner. Dr. Luetmer has been a breath of fresh air regarding doctoring. She shares our values and is truly concerned about us getting healthier. She wants to get to the root of what is causing health issues rather than masking symptoms with a drug. She makes herself available to us through various communication means and even during evenings and weekends in emergency situations. Dr. Luetmer is continually education herself and us by providing information via her website and Facebook. She seeks out ways to cut our costs on supplements, lab work, prescriptions and imaging costs. She takes the time with you and has a caring bedside manner. We have recommended her and will continue to recommend her to others.

My initial impression of Dr Luetmer was favorable, but as time has passed a unfavorable pattern has developed: over promising and under delivering on things she offers to do, and a littany of excuses for not following through. She's a skilled physician w/ good patient rapport, but appears challenged in balancing work/life.
