I went in for right side pain. The ER discovered I was also dealing with ketoacidosis. They admitted me, and dealt professionally with the ketoacidosis, but Dr. Davalath seemed more fixated over telling her I tried medical marijuana than my pain. GI did upper scope, found issues, but not source of pain. When I was released, Dr. Davalath (with a room full of students) said I had "no physical restrictions." Because I overheard my nurse mentioning it while giving me meds, I then asked about my hypothyroidism, and why no one told me about it? She insisted she did, and said how I'm going to be feeling much better. I think she meant well, but today, I feel like death. My pain is worse, but now I get horrible headaches, nausea, and feel I'm gonna pass out. I see my primary tomorrow... I pray they can figure this out.
