Excellent service overall!

My first appointment left me feeling optimistic and hopeful. Office staff was ok, I've experienced better, and worse. Wait time is long as several people have the exact same appt time. I came in as a new patient, told the doc my medical history, so she wanted me to get a colonoscopy to confirm diagnosis, but the way she wrote it on paper was that a diagnosis was confirmed, which made my insurance not cover it. So when my other testing came back, I am BEGGING this lady for some treatment, but declines to give me anything until I get the colonoscopy....get this....to confirm a diagnosis. Mind blown. My insurance will cover it in 2 months, but she wants me to pay $345 for the test, PLUS facility charges. Meanwhile, I walked out of her office feeling exactly the same as when I walked in. I completed almost 30 blood tests she wanted done, plus an abdominal ultrasound, yet she still wont treat me without the expensive colonoscopy. This is not a doctor I would recommend. I arrived just a couple of minutes late but was quick to get into the room. I waited in the room 45 minutes. No one came to say the Dr was running late or anything. How arrogant of anyone thinking their patient’s time is not as important as their’s. I left and asked for my credit for the co payment. Called my regular Dr to find me a different gastroenterologist, this one is not the only on one in the Houston area.

This office over-charged me for an appointment on March 1st of this year. After 260 days, I still do not have my refund. The accounts manager claimed they sent a check months ago (I never got it), and that they need to investigate to see if it was deposited. That was already two months ago. The staff has been continually rude, off-putting, and attempting to gaslight, deflect, and procrastinate. No calls back from the office manager, who is never available. I am now escalating with an attorney.

My primary M.D. referred me to her Gastrologist, Dr. S. Reddy, eight years ago. This has been a priceless gift for my health. She is articulate, compassionate, committed and invested in her patients.

Dr. Reddy is thorough and methodically worked through the list of GI symptoms I've experienced for years. I'm still under her care and together we're addressing my issues and I am confident in her abilities to partner with me to improve my health. Good bedside manner, great job explaining what's going on and getting me the care I need.

Dr Reddy's bedside manner is awesome! Dr Reddy takes the time to listen & understand her patient's problems asking questions to obtain more info to help with the diagnosis. She always has a friendly smile. There are a few times the wait to see her is little longer than expected however having her as a doctor is worth the wait. She has helped me diagnosis my issues and resolved the issues. I have used her for several years & I highly recommend her to my family & friends.

Dr. Reddy was very patient in listening when I was trying to describe my condition. She took the time to explain what needs to be done and was not in a rush. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a good GI female doctor. The wait time was decent.

When I was diagnosed with colitis, I intentionally sought a female gastroenterologist with good ratings, and am so happy to have found Dr. Reddy. Although her closest office is 27 miles from my home, it is well worth the drive. She is highly knowledgeable and professional, while remaining completely personable, approachable and relatable. She actually LISTENS to her patients. Her staff is great, too. Bonus: The office on South Gessner has free parking right next to the building.

I have been an RN for 39 years and a patient of Dr. Reddy's for many of those years. She is the doctor that I have recommended to friends and family members more than any other. She spends much time at each visit learning about your health & lifestyle and is genuinely interested in her patients. Her office staff is excellent and stays with her. She is extremely thorough which is especially important for cancer screening procedures. She's always informed/following current standards of care.

Doctor Reddy is a true professional, a (Super Doc). Great bedside manners. Always greeted with a pleasant smile. Good communication with patients and collaboration with other physcians. Dr.Sreelatha Reddy approaches her patients as a friend or a good neighbor. Always gracious, her patient visits begin and end in polite conversation. She is gentle by nature. Her smile dominates as she asks questions and listens to her patient's answers and their concerns. Similarly she invites questions and always provides fully understandable answers. Her demeanor belies the fact that she is a highly qualified medical professional.

Dr. Reddy listens with care and made me feel very positive about my situation. I felt at ease over my procedure and all went well. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Reddy has always been very attentive. She ordered many tests (CT-Scan w/ & w/o contrast, MRI w/ & w/o contrast, blood tests, and endoscopy. I got good results for her treatments in healing my ulcers and in getting good bowel movement. However, regarding my main problem of persistent, lower abdominal cramps for which she has been treating me since I started seeing her five months ago,I have gotten no relief. Many times I've been seen very late and prescriptions are not completely filled.

She seems like a fine doctor but what threw me off was that she made me come down to her office just to discuss test results which could have been easily done over the phone and does not need an extra visit or extra money for a 5 minute discussion which I had to wait 30 minutes in advance for.

My experience with Dr. Reddy has always been positive. I have not had to wait terribly long to see her and she spends the necessary amount of time talking with me.
