Dismissive in time of urgent need
I contacted Dr. Nadella’s office regarding an urgent matter last week. I have experienced heightened anxiety and depression due to my medical condition. I have been waiting over a month since my last visit for this office to order necessary tests to determine my diagnosis (which is asinine but this is due to poor communication from this office). I was in extreme distress last week and was instructed by Dr. Nadella to schedule an appt with a psychiatrist or go to the ER. Scheduling an appt with a psychiatrist is a lengthy process and I was in an urgent state of crisis. No one bothered to ask if i had suicidal ideation etc. my concerns were blatantly dismissed. How many patients are not being heard by this office? I see why patients are leaving St. Luke’s for other providers. As current employee, this is not acceptable.
