Ignores symptoms to push meds
Rather than listening to the cause of a physical injury, he decided a misdiagnosis from a decade previous was the “cause” of a pulled tendon. Pushed medication for said “cause” without running any tests, and couldn’t explain how the meds would work or the side effects of the meds. Was more interested in showing me pictures of said affliction which looked exactly like a pulled tendon. After finding no relief from pushed meds, I went to the ER where they diagnosed a pulled tendon. Samaddar wasn’t interested in listening or being asked questions. He is incredibly arrogant, and in the end, completely misdiagnosed the issue.

A dismissive and uncaring doctor. Was very eager to schedule a regular physical exam, less eager to actually problem solve when I was actually ill and injured, make referrals to help me manage my care, or make connections between my symptoms. Horrible about follow up; he sent me to the ER and never bothered to check in afterwards, never communicated about the results of tests.

He has been my doctor for several years. He always listens to what I have to say and gives thorough, understandable explanations. He has also been able to solve one foot problem by manual manipulation.

Waiting 14 days for the Doctor to fill in the form, needed by MVC. This practice has a poor connection with a patients. The receptionist has been rude on the phone. High staff turnover, low staff qualification continue to hamper the effectiveness of Hunterdon Family & Sports Medicine. Doctor acts like dictator,no dialogue with a patients, Lack of knowledge of basic rules and regulations of government agencies, that doctors need to apply while giving their conclusion about well being of the pati

Dr. Samaddar has been our physician for over 3 years and is always attentive, thoughtful, and very helpful in diagnosing issues with my teens and myself. He has a great manner, looks up information to make careful decisions and considers options that would best suit the situation. He has referred us to excellent specialists as the needs arose, and follows up with us to make sure that we recovered. He also has a good sense of humor which is very helpful! I value his knowledge and office.

Does not listen to patients, gives incorrect and conflicting advice, and treats patients with an arrogant attitude. Worst doctor I've ever had.

Dissatisfied Patient in NJ – Feb 13, 2016
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Samaddar?
Dr. Samaddar's arrogance borders on negligence. I have been succesfully managing my asthma for decades. I have not needed to go the the ER in 26 years and only use medication as needed. Apparently Dr. Samaddar believes it is better to overmedicate using a much more powerful medication, with serious side effects than it is to use an inhaler as needed. I am wondering how much he makes from the pharma company he obviously works for.
