Dr. Soujanya Donthu, MD

I first met Dr Donthu she is very very friendly. She is very thorough and let me explain how I felt and let me take as long as I needed. I in no way felt rushed. She really cares. Now I feel at ease. Knowing that if I am not feeling well, I can call Dr. Donthu and she will care for me and is easy to contact. You do not find this kind of care anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Donthu!

I did not find Dr. Donthu to be a very good listener. Her office sent my account into collections just as I was about to call to work out a payment plan in spite of having made payments to it. There just seemed to be a lack of understanding and compassion despite the appearance of care in the front office.

Dr Donthu is truly amazing, she has been my husband and my primary care for 5 years, soon we will add our son once he turns 18. She takes the time to know YOU as a person, listen and fully care and diagnose you with our judgement. She truly cares, we simply adore her and refer everyone to her! Most of the time we are straight in and on occasion we have had short delays and typically it’s when she needs to take time with another patient, which I remind myself if I expect her to do that for me so does everyone else. The office staff has been poor at times, short tempered and confused but that’s not Dr Donthu so I won’t put that in her rating.

I’m appalled at this woman’s lack of knowledge, professionalism and discourteousness. Starting with me having to ask repeatedly if they needed a urine sample. Waited almost whole visit in so much pain to give a urine sample. That was the least of pure gross negligence. I’m a disabled woman, I needed to establish a Pcp, and needed refills on my thyroid medicine. You are in grave danger, if you or a loved one go to her for medical care. I wish I had more space to tell all.

Dr.Donthu is the best I just love her she really listens to you and your concerns.Dr Donthu puts you at ease and very easy to talk to I would highly recommend her .She is the best gives you her full attention.

Dr. Donthu is the Best. I am in my 60s and have seen many physicians. I have never seen someone who takes time and advocates for you. I couldn't secure appointment with other specialists and she personally calls and arranges. This happened twice with me. Also, she is a no nonsense doctor and very clear in her expectations about compliance. She is very professional in her attire and always a pleasure to meet her.

Let me preface this with i am a young, educated black woman. I had been a patient of this doctor for about a year and she was the first doctor I’d seen out here in Texas, do I decided to give her a shot. Big mistake. From my first appointment the waits are always consistently long to be seen. She is a doctor and always wears open toe sandals. I’ve never seen that before. My first meeting I requested a full blood work in which she ordered only a fraction of what I requested. I had to go back and

Best decision was to make an appointment with her upon friend's recommendation. It is always a pleasant experience with Dr. Donthu and the office. After couple of visits, I can see why my friends like her. My diabetes and blood pressure are well under control now. Her bed side manners, the way she explains different options are what impresses me most!!

I am writing this review because Doctor Donthu is not only a wonderful, highly knowable, educated doctor but also very pleasant, courteous, understanding, patient and really cares about you. You never feel like she is rushing you, She takes time to listen to your concerns. She has a great personality and sense of humor. I would highly recommend Dr. Doctor Donthu, she really cares about her patients.

Highly recommend Dr. Donthu and I like the office staff and ambience. This Doc is the best and very attentive and you will surely feel in safe hands!!!

She misdiagnosed sinusitis for allergies over six months period . She under prescribed antibiotics (wrong drug and duration) on two occasions. When that failed and I was still very sick, she decided i had allergies, gave me a steroid shot and a list of over the counter drugs . I finally went to an allergist got tested, no allergies but sinusitis, he gave me a different antibiotic for 3 weeks, and said that the dose I had taken originally would not have done the job.

I am above 60yrs old and have seen many doctors. Never had such a good first time experience. Dr. Donthu carefully goes through your prior history if you are new patient to her and suggests changes in treatment and clearly explains and answers questions. My anxiety, blood pressure and numbers are under control her just being under her care her for few months. Now my husband and daughter also switched to her. I am so glad to have found her!!

Dr. Donthu is amazing and I am glad to have found her. Other docs misdiagnosed my rash. My family friend referred me to Dr. Donthu and correctly diagnosed and her treatment fixed my problem in two days. She is very friendly and thorough.

I love Dr Donthu. She is the best dr I have ever had. She really cares and takes time with her patients. She even checks on you at home. I would not see any other dr.

She is the most unprofessional and unethical physician I have ever met. She has no idea what she is doing. Keep your loved ones away from her. I was a patient of Dr. Papacosta and when he left the practice I chose to stay at this office for convenience. Lucky I only had to be seen by her two times and needless to say it was more than enough.

Dr Donahue is not only compassionate and listens to you but she also is aggressive to get to the root of your problem. She orders the appropriate diagnostic tests and refers to specialists of needed.
