Horrifying Pain Throughout Surgery
I was supposed to have twilight anesthesiology but I experienced excruciating pain throughout my surgery. When tears wouldn't stop and I couldn't stop moaning Dr Batheja asked if I needed more pain relief, which I had no idea I had to ask for, and I did. I could feel the pain of the cut through my skin, the stylus threaded among the muscle and the pain of the tip of the screw into my bone, and even the screw as it was twisted into the bone. I asked for more and it released a bit of the pain. It was as if Dr Batheja had no idea how to administer twilight anesthesia. It took 4 hours before the pain became bearable with Oxycontin. I will never be involved with him again.
