Dr. Sonja Gray, MD

The office let me know what treatment would cost. Full assessment included options for treatment. Meds were not immediately prescribed. Highly trained. She listened and individualized my care.

I cannot say this emphatically enough: do NOT go to Dr. Gray. She's ill-prepared for appointments, dismissive of patient concerns and horrible with follow up. (She’s also only doing telehealth and we were told she would be doing in-person appointments again this fall locally which hasn’t happened.)When my child went off medication without telling anyone because she was 'feeling better' Dr. Gray quickly quipped 'well since she's doing better and seeing a therapist there's no more reason to see her. Closing her file.' No probing questions, no mention of the danger of removing yourself from medications, etc. Not even a thoughtful or appropriate response when she was told that my child is still suffering from anxiety and depression, mainly related to school and could use support with those issues. No offer to try and find a medication that worked. Within two weeks she was back in a deep depression and hospitalized for a week. Save your time and money.

I refer Dr. Gray to families that I work with and she relates well with young people. She provides time to get to know her patients, not just prescribe. She is knowledgeable and uses a holistic approach to mental health. She communicates in terms that are understandable and allows time to address questions.
