Seen in the hospital setting and very compassionate , board certified physician , detailed and took her time daily . Felt very safe and well cared for under her care and will return here for any of my mental health needs. Goes above and beyond !

Excellent Board certified psychiatrist. I have seen many psychiatrist through the years , then was recommended to see her when I did not get relief of my symptoms . She is compassionate, professional and intelligent takes the time with you and truly cares and helps you. I am on the correct medications now and feel great ! I have been seeing her for few years and will stay with her forever she is just a well rounded ,an amazing doctor . Highly recommended but hard to get appointments as she is fully booked ! I am grateful she is my psychiatrist

This doctor was one of the worst I have ever come across. My mother was in the hospital for a psychiatric disorder and Dr. D would not contact her family and caregivers (my father and me) to get a complete history. When we finally got ahold of her she refused to listen to anything we said and just kept getting on a power trip saying "listen to the doctor" and telling us numerous times about her "prestigious practice in Manhattan". We were treated as the enemy during the most difficult time in our lives. She forced my mom to take an insane amount of drugs that every other doctor and therapist who has seen her since was appalled by. Her condition became worse in her "care". She lied on my mother's charts. It is clear that she became a doctor to be "the smartest person in the room" rather than to help people. Mental illness affects the family too and this experience left us so scarred and hurt. I hope the best for her future patients, the level of "care" we experienced was horrendous.
