The worst Dr. EVER!
I told him about my condition and he asked me how do I know? I said I got tested for it. He wouldn't let me talk. He told me no I don't think this is it. And when I told him all the tests that I had done including biopsy's to prove it and he said that test is not right. And he started getting loud with me and he laughed at me. He never even looked at my charts. No blood test was token and he didn't even order a blood test to be done. I told him about all the symptoms that I had and he still said that it's not it. I DO NOT WANT TO EVER SEE HIM AGAIN!

Amazing and understanding
Dr. Zang has been the best rheumatologist and doctor I have ever had in general! He always ask what I feel is wrong and actually listens to you. He did multiple test on me when others did not and actually treated me. He always answered his messages and if I needed to be seen I was able to to be seen right away or send medications I may need. He always made sure to educate me on how to take my medications. He has a dry sense of humor which others may not understand, but as a nurse myself I can tell you that this doctor is amazing! Very soft spoken like others have stated but very wise!

An awesome rheumatologist!
Since he came to NWA, he has been a compassionate, professional, thorough doctor to myself and my husband. He runs test that are necessary, and explains the results and the treatment that is needed for us. He explains any benefits and contraindications of different treatments or medications. He nor his staff has ever rushed through appointments and we are seen in a timely manner. Dr Zang usually walks us out giving instructions that may be necessary, or when he wants us to return for the appointments.

Dr Zang is a rare doctor that actually cares how you are. He listens to you and performs any needed tests. After my first visit, where I had extensive x-rays to get a complete diagnosis, he took me into to his office to show me the X-ray results so he could explain exactly what was going on. He’s a very through, compassionate doctor. He is soft spoken, and I’ve NEVER known him to be rude or condescending in the LEAST. So many specialists seem detached and arrogant, but not Dr Zang.

Great doctor who works WITH you!
He actually listens to what you have to say and works with you to find treatments that work. I have been seeing him for years for RA and I feel that he actually cares about his patients. Previous negative reviews here sound more like personality differences, and as a nurse I can tell you that this happens all the time and you just have to find the right doctor for you. When flare ups occur with RA he makes sure to work you in quickly or discuss over the phone so you aren’t left suffering. He goes above and beyond that is for sure!

Very rude and lazy
Avoid this dr. NWA md's will help you more than this place. He refused any updated paperwork on me. Ran off 5 year old charts. He told me he's the "only right doctor" in our area. Well let me tell you how stupid this guy is.....he wouldn't stop talking about fibromyalgia. I was never offered a physical exam, blood work....nothing! If had looked at my updated paperwork he would've seen im already suffering from a connective tissue disorder. Those words were never even brought up because he told me to shut up on several occasions stating over and over he's the only right doctor. This guy belittled me til I was bawling. Then left me on the bathroom floor vomiting for 30 mins. I was sent to this guy to help keep my connective tissue disorder under control cause my inflammatory markers are sky high but nope this guy didn't even want updated charts. Just kept saying women think they're in pain when it's just mental illness from becoming a mom....this guy actually said that to me.

Best Dr. I have ever had. Listens, gave me his personal phone number, allows me to come in the office whenever it’s needed, and truly empathizes. He has a dry sense of humor that could be misunderstood by some. I have seen Mayo Clinic rheumatologists and I prefer Dr. Zang.

Great doctor and a rare gem! Dr.Song Zang is the kindest and most compassionate doctor I've seen in a long time. He is very patient and always takes the time to listen as well as being knowledgeable. My symptoms have been puzzling to a lot of doctors, but Dr. Zang is solving the puzzle. He is not like a lot of modern doctors who rush you through appointments and are distant. Dr. Zang truly cares and and it really shows. He's a great doctor and I'm glad to have found him!

He is very Arrogantly Rude and Obnoxious!!!!!!!! I was a patient with him for 8 months because there are only a few Rheumatologist in my area that treats Fibromyalgia. During my 8 months of visits with Dr.Zang I was waiting to get to see another Rheumatology by the second visit. I had to wait along time to get in another DR. office.until the day Dr. Zang walked me out of the office after he was questioned about the way he treated me. I left crying alot. Arkansas new patients be aware of him!!!

THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST DR I EVER SAW. WASTED MY MONEY. I HAVE A RARE FORM OF LEUKEMIA AND SUFFER FROM ARTHRISIS FLARE UPS TO THE POINT THAT I CAN NOT WALK OR USE MY HANDS. HE NEVER LOOKED AT A CHART, NEVER EXAMINED ME, NO BLOOD WORK OR XRAYS. TOLD ME I DIDNT HAVE ARTHRITIS AND SENT ME AWAY WITH A PAPER ON FIBROMYALGIA. I AM NOW SEEING A DIFFERENT RA DR AND ON MEDICATION TO HELP WITH THE FLARE UPS. DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME OR MONEY. HE WAS VERY FIGETY , HATEFUL AND RUDE.
